Approach / Methodology:
Tested working of throttle and PAS.
Both throttle and PAS found OK
Tested controller for fault.
Controller found faulty.
Replaced controller.
Display not compatible with the new controller.
Replaced display.

Hi, please, I replaced pedal assistant sensor with a throttle on my ebike and it not working. How do I fix the issue.
The controller doesn't have separate wire for throttle connection.

Question, my battery is 48v 20ah. My controller is 48v 20ah. Manufacturer upgrade from 20ah b/c none in stock.
Will this combo work? Heard it could damage battery. I use PAS too when riding.

If your battery is rated with average voltage 48v , you need a controller and motor rated with 48v. Other controller will also work but it may fry up your devise in regular use.

Also to communicate with a controller you need a input output display unit. These display units are designed for particular controller model or brand only.

Go into P20 and try changing the value from 0 or 1 or 2. The code disappear when you hit the right number. This tells the controller which LCD screen you have connected, atleast on a KT controller.

☠️☠️☠️ I've been experiencing extremely dangerous episodes of the motor not stopping as soon as I turn the throttle , related to high humidity conditions ! I think it's because the humidity increases conductivity of the hall sensors in the throttle . can you recommend a good throttle ? I think the manufacturers are going to have to make them water proof. I experienced the same issue with a different throttle , battery and controller. just using the bike after a rain storm is enough to cause the issue. We must have a throttle will a switch to cut power ! ☠️ Also stop using hot glue on the Hall sensors ! It melts were I live ! And make the throttle not Fall apart so easy , and they need to be made with softer grips or made to accept normal grip's.

This is not a controller "fix", this is a "replacement". You did not fix anything.

I have a Fortis bike with this display, I can't get walk mode, the bike has no throttle

@@flyanbryan4965 I have unlocked the class 1 restrictions and other parameters, no walk mode in the P setup menu, maybe the controller doesn't have walk mode, putting a throttle on the Fortis bike will help
I have since installed a thumb throttle, it makes kicking off much easier and cruise at 30 kph

@@yusifsuleiman5502 Did you try to connect throttle to pedal assist wire?, the throttle wire is a 3 wire plug with red black green wires on the controller
