There are many casual Master players, descent low GM hangers but frequent challengers are all serious players who live off of league in some way because that's too much time investment
@@gandalfthegrey2777 this^^^ it's possible to reach master for a casual ranked player, low GM even. you spend the first bit of every season grinding and then you can just cruise by playing 1 game a day, or you can spend a day grinding up to 14 games and then you don't have to touch league for the next two weeks. challenger, however, is such a highly competitive environment that you HAVE to be playing literally hundreds of games a month to keep yourself at the top. the only ones with that level of dedication are people who REALLY like league and spend all the free time they do have on it, or people who have something to gain for being that level. which means you're either a streamer who's main content is league, or you're hoping to be scouted by an org to go pro. nobody middle class with a traditional job is going to find the time to keep up with what Challenger demands. in total, counting all the regions, there's 2,350 people out of over ONE HUNDRED MILLION who are challenger. that's not even counting all the alt accounts some of these psychos have.
