  • A super exciting day having my four-year-old doing her first competition where she rides by herself. And does the trot over poles as well as my two-year-old daughter's first horse show where she does the most adorable 2 point position and I share with you. How the teaching of little children how to accomplish goals is very similar to training horses and a few great tips to consider.

    Teddy is doing great. Like your thoughts on finding "the most important" thing to work on and not descending into overload. A nice start for the girls.

    I like that her heels are down as much as possible. There’s a famous RUclips child rider who does 4 ft jumps and has her toes straight down even still and she is now twice her age. Her parents insist that kids can not physically put heels down. I call BS and it’s a super dangerous habit to have
