I took the day after Presidents day off and did a road trip to SF.
Taking this Friday off for American Supercamp, motorcycle training.
And next Friday I'm taking off for a track day haha.
I got some at risk Vacation so I'm using it!

It depends on how the day went. Yesterday my day was really trash. On days like that I found out that taking a walk is really helpful. I bring my camera and see what I can see.
so relatable! working full-time takes up so much energy, especially if you are creative or work on creative ventures/passions. i always struggle with taking PTO as well but I'm glad you're creating that balance!
Balance is super important!

I find cleaning very therapeutic, sometimes in small doses and other times in larger ones.
I use plastic grocery bags for my trash cans around my mansion.
It is extremely difficult for me to wash, dry, and fold my laundry all in one day. Lack of focus.
I don't shower everyday, because I don't leave the mansion very often.
Before I became a piece of low-hanging fruit at work, and was thanked for my service and booted out the door, I always felt as though I was playing hookee (spelling?), and did nothing but worry about how far I was falling behind by taking a day off. What can I say - I am weird.

As always. I admire your ability to be able to show that sometimes you struggle with everyday things, such as work, friendships, cleaning, youtube, etc.
You are able to motivate and personalize each video, so each seems as though it was a conversation, and not a lecture, and a motivation to keep working at our everyday lives.

Hey man, just a piece of advice from someone that looks up to you. The reason I look up to you, is that I can both relate to you, and I can notice that you are immensely capable. I am sure that you are killing it at work as you are saying. But is it really worth spending all your time/mental energy on someone else’s company? specially when you are so talented and competent.
You have enough qualities to be a business owner, a successful entrepreneur 100%. I have no doubts of all of this after watching your videos. So my question again is: Why not focusing on your own business? Whether it is RUclips or something else.
Anyway, you can (obviously) do whatever you want, and I wish you all the best in your future either way
Hey Jose! Appreciate the kind words. While I totally get what you're saying about pouring my time and energy into someone else's dream, it's thanks to being employed at my company that I get to meet a bunch of cool people, have a more 'stable' income, get health insurance, learn a lot about the fintech world, and do so many cool things I wouldn't have been able to do otherwise.
I go into a deeper explanation as to why I wouldn't go RUclips full-time in my 'why I quit' video, but the gist of it is that I wouldn't want to take on that much risk / I can't see myself doing RUclips full-time or run my own company atm. There's a lot of overhead and 'hidden' work associated with being a business owner, and I'd rather be able to shut off after 5PM. Maybe a lack of confidence in myself is part of the reason, but I just think I don't have any crazy or lofty aspirations. Sharing my journey through RUclips is plenty for now :) Thanks for the comment!
