Whenever I listen to a speech or discussion by Mr. Gadkari, I end up being speechless. What an amazing vision and work culture. श्री. नितीन जी , आपल्या खात्याचे प्रकल्प, त्यांची कार्यक्षम अंमलबजावणी आणि सर्वात वर म्हणजे त्यासाठी लागणारे आर्थिक संसाधने यांची तुम्ही स्वतःच केलेली व्यवस्था या खरोखरच कौतुकास्पद बाबी आहेत. त्याबद्दल आपले हार्दिक अभिनंदन. मात्र आपण महाग पेट्रोल-डिझेल साठी जो जैविक इंधनाचा पर्याय आणीत आहेत तो कृपया मागे घ्या. इथेनॉलच्या नादी लागू नका. ऊस-शेतीने आपल्या शेत जमिनीचे अतोनात नुकसान झाले आहे. त्या जमिनी नापीक होत आहेत. तसेच उसासाठी पाण्याची प्रचंड नासाडी होते. भूगर्भ-जलाची पातळी खूप खोल गेलेली आहे. इथेनॉलच्या उत्पादन केले तर उसाचे उत्पन्न वाढवावे लागेल अन पाणी आणि जमिनीचे असे नुकसान चालूच राहील. म्हणून इथेनॉल हे प्रकरण बंदच करावे ही विनंती. पेट्रोलला पर्याय म्हणून विजेवर चालणाऱ्या मोटारीचे उत्पादन वाढविण्याचे आपले जे प्रयत्न चाललेले आहेत ते जोरात पुढे नेणे अत्यंत गरजेचे आहे. सन 2020 नंतर या प्रयत्नांचे चांगले परिणाम दिसून येणार आहेत. So, please concentrate on production of E- vehicles. That will definitely revolutionarise India's transport scene in near future.

Nitin Gadkari ji please issue vehicle licence for only five years at one go and 2 years for commercial vehicles. Also, introduce stricter tax on parking. Raise parking fees to astronomical costs in big cities so that only the rich can afford to drive. Use parking fees to subsidise public transport. Encourage and reward piblic participation to report parking and traffic violations. Ensure accountability of license issuers to accidents. This alone will go a long way to reduce accidents.

Please do something for national registry of all vehicles, driving licenses and abolition of state wise Road Tax offices as promised by you right on very first day. All these shall be a Central Government issues.

So many projects should create enormous number of jobs but still so many engineers are unemployed. I believe necessary training should be provided to the engineers or professionals relating to this sector to employ as much people as possible.

You are absolutely right regarding the escalation in purchasing of personal vehicles. I have a suggestion why don't the bank increase the ROI on purchase of personal vehicle for all those cities where the No. Of vehicles are exceptionally high in comparison to the available road & parking.
