I've never heard so much emotion and on so many levels in a talk in my life. I really wanted to just hug her. It makes me so upset when I see others hurting that I just want to hold them and let them know they're not alone, it's ok to express yourself, and I'll be there for you not in a way I feel necessary but in whatever way You need me to be.
Her account is heartbreaking. Her dad was my mom, always drunk and beating on me and my sister angela, so many nights, beaten for absolutely no reason. She's sober now but the damage, well, yeah, we are both healing slowly but like Taylor Dane I don't think I'll ever marry and or trust another human being. Thanks, Taylor Dane for sharing your story with us. It's "comforting" to know there are others out there that went through similar trauma.

Tell it to my heart has always been one of my favorit songs. I too grew up with non emotional (and abusive) parents. The love and heart you were talking about has always been my search, because it was so natural to me. It took me toxic and unhealthy relationships to begin to search it within myself. Finally in my 40+ I found some love in myself and now I share the most pure unconditional love with my love. You were born to sing to spread what it's all about 💓

Jesse Cline Jesse, I was at that concert at Concord College too...just so you know it was April 25, 1990 on a Wednesday!!! I was in the front and sang every song...oh....I just saw her a few weeks back and she is stunning!!!! I got a picture with her....she is Fabulous!!!

She was in 2001 in Aida, appeared in a local Syracuse play several years ago, and nearly appeared in a Funny Girl revival in the mid-90s, but Jules Verne passed on. Her mother Laura was an inspiring Broadway actress at one point, but only appeared off-off-off Broadway in her career. Perhaps she could now appear on Roseanne as now that show is back on, the fact was shortly before the original version was cancelled, she was proposed to be added to the cast.
