@@danushkaamarasinghe7382 Japura is an applied sciences faculty and UOC is a science faculty. So if you are going to study a subject deeper it would be better if you go to a sci fac. But on the other hand Japura has subject combinations (and the combinations are different than UOC) while at the UOC you don't have combinations and you have to study everything during the first two years. And again UOC has a better world rank than Japura. Weigh all the options and figure out which university suits you better.

@@shehanrathnayaka-d7k Not that it's bad, but always do your higher education abroad. Our country is lacking in technology in many aspects. For a bachelor's degree it is okay but for anything beyond that I don't think it's a good idea.
If your plan is a PhD you need to have a research background in that particular field. So make sure to apply for a program which will give you that. On top of that if you are going towards a field like aerospace, it might require you to have citizenship in the given country when it comes to employment. (For example NASA requires you to be a US citizen) Check employment first and see what they require you to have. According to that tailor your profile.
