It would be hilarious if Charles actually knew or guessed the right answers, his wife actually couldn't smile, and the guy behind him actually had a nasty cough!!!

Maybe to avoid copyright issues.
Both of the Ingrams and Whittock were given prison sentences, suspended for two years-the Ingrams were sentenced to eighteen months; Whittock was sentenced to twelve months-and each fined £15,000 and ordered to pay £10,000 towards prosecution costs.
This has to be the easiest 1 million question I’ve ever seen. I’ve known this since I was in elementary school
It wasn’t easy in 2001 when this was filmed
if you knew it.........wonder how he became to be a major in his military career.
Evening, Major !!!
Evening, FAULTY ...
At 2:23 he says it could be a gigabit then at 2:27 someone coughs 😂
“Gigabit final answer”.
So why doesn't he say gigabit ?
@@stevewood238 Probably because the person coughing is not Tecwen Whittock.
@@stevewood238he reads the correct answer multiple times to make sure, he doesn’t say final answer after the first cough
"God is it a googol?"
"Yup, it's a googol..yup"
This happened on September 9th and 10th of 2001. The second-most well-known event that week.
Bob Woffinden's 2015 book pretty much persuaded me of their innocence but Diana's body language from about 8.40 is making me think again
*Cough* Googol helped the audience.
05:57 LOL WHAAAATTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Milking this a bit now haha
Happy 20th Anniversary everyone... September 10th 2001 - The day the world changed forever...
The real question is how this is so high quality, this was in 2001
Plus I just realised that this is the 6th video IN A ROW of this dude
Probably remastered
You could tell she was sceptical in her reaction that they would get caught
She knew he was pushing his luck, I believe he went farther than what was planned.
In the final two questions, it became painfully obvious something was amiss.
Even her reaction when she walked down was jarring, she barely looked at all excited after seeing her husband win the big prize.
They were also apparently heard arguing backstage. Not what you’d expect after winning a million
Let’s gave them some credit. Worth a try.
He would’ve gotten away had he stopped at 125K or even 250K.
After that he made it way too obvious. He got greedy
2:47 These a cough before selecting googol in megraton so if the mr.tewcek coughing was for the right one way cough in wrong one?
If he had a coughing but was coughing two times in same question and one for megraton
of course he's heard of megatron, he watched all the transformers movies
this was back in 2001.
The look on his wife's face during the cams looked so obvious that something suspicious was going on. As well as Ingram going back and forth with the answer choices, even eliminating Googol as one of the options before reinviting it and confirming it a few hundred times that it is lol. The celebration looked pretty fake too, not genuine.
Then apparently they had a blazing row backstage after the show!
@@michaeldixon9942 Exactly
Not what you’d expect from a couple that just won the top prize
20 years ago today he got in the hot seat.
20 years ago tomorrow he won the mil
20 years ago the day after tomorrow...
If I were in his shoes I would have also milked it to be fair especially for the MILLIOND POUND QUESTION PEOPLE!!!
His wife reminds me devil Who assists Dean Corso in „the Ninth Gate”😅
Clearly Charles had never heard of Transformers if he had he would have ruled out Megatron right from the start
Or the Megatron of a microwave that produces the micro-waves required to heat food
Missed out the bit where Tarrant gave Diana a good squeeze, can’t say I blame him tbf
4:34 he says my strategy has worked so far
Me: you're damn right.
Tha drum roller has the stamina of an iceberg
Charles:says Goggol
Tequin:COVID 19
Don't know how they've got access to this cos it was never released on TV
Recordings are always kept in the archive.
I wish the couple who was sat behind diana would come in to the chat.
I don’t think I’ve heard of a googol
*cough*
I really do think it’s a googol
It would be hilarious if Charles actually knew or guessed the right answers, his wife actually couldn't smile, and the guy behind him actually had a nasty cough!!!
The question is quite easy for a £1M Pound question.
Again. Only because you're seeing it in 2020. In 2001 this was very difficult.
Nope. I read about it somewhere as a kid and I didn't even read that much.
The coughing was so obvious.. yet they still try to deny it..
Yeah, from our 2020 point of view. There were different times back then. Take it into account.
That last question wouldve been a great on air non cheating question
Even IF he didn't actually cheat, I don't get why it took him so long to answer this question; even if he'd never heard of a googol before (which is fair enough), the dude had received an engineering degree (from the same uni as me!) which should've made him very familiar with the terms "mega" (followed by 6 zeroes), "giga" (followed by 9 zeroes), and "nano" (preceded by 9 zeroes)
Exactly, it's such an easy question. Basic schooling teaches this.
the 500k question was even worst and show even more how he cheated.
but this last one we could see her wife feeling helplesss and panicking at how retarded her husband is explosing the cheat due to greed.
On the 6th cough, he got the message.
