It's stated wrongly that it was an a live performance for Sony executives, which i believe they did actually do, but this is actually I'm not 100% but from Glasgow Cathouse it may King Tuts (where Alan McGee discovered them) but it's Glasgow I'm sure just before they were famous.
Always thought this live cover was better than The Beatles original 😂. When it gets Oasis'd up it just rocks. Liams singing is dynamite here and the guitars are drugged out with that outro slide and delay combo.
Dunno about better.. Would you still say that if someone played Rock 'n' Roll star slightly heavier?? Without Helter Skelter, they're would be no heavy rock.. But it is tremendous..

This cover's brilliant! I used to not like it much but I've really warmed to it and love it now - there are PLENTY of Oasis originals way worse than this.
