A lot of ASMRtists insist on artificially silent backgrounds in their videos, but I think your work really proves how important the incidental noises - the steps, the bangles etc. - are to getting a 'real' ASMR experience from these kinds of roleplays. I completely agree with you. In real life there are a lot of different background sounds just like in Isla's videos. The naturalness with which she speaks and moves complements the background sounds very well, so everything feels more real.
I agree. Role play sort of videos like this feel more realistic when there's background sounds because there would be in real life. My brain focuses on how unnaturally silent it is when the video doesn't have it. Plus some people really like the background sounds, there's even videos of just that type of sound.

Also agree, asmr videos with background noise I always find wayyyyy more relaxing than ones without. Some videos have some silent parts if someone isn’t speaking and then when they speak again and there’s noise again, its a little jarring. With continuous background noise, it completely eliminates that and its great

Your hand and arm movements are so nice and relaxing and the level you film at really emphasizes the hands which are such a big trigger for me! Maybe talk about a gift you are organising to buy or have bought on their behalf for a family member or partner. That would be amazing. Thank you so much🤎
