Dave had this ghostwritten for him and still took like 2 weeks. Tom wrote both his, produced actual new tracks, and made music videos, each taking approximately one day. Also, Dave didn't dig very deep in the crate. He used a barely reinterpolated version of a Swizz Beatz (who himself was in trouble for stealing/copying sounds back in the day) beat off the Ruff Ryderz Vol. 1 album. It ftd a pretty short, but dope DMX verse. Dave then had a little g-funk sprinkled at the end, but even if you like the beats, they were just lazy choices, and the fact he had ghostwriters just automatically dqs him in most serious hip-hop head's eyes, especially for a diss track. I mean come on. I don't know, even in 5 years, how dave gathered the balls to think he even deserved a second round in the ring after such b*tch sh*t! It's really just sad how much of an obvious clout chase this is from dave...
One reason Tom won't go back at anyone is because he's savage. He'll give death or self-deletion bars while smiling. He has no filter, and he has a dark sense of humor. He's lit. Also, he doesn't mean to be "controversial," he's just brutally honest, and people call it "controversial." A LOT of people appreciate his brutal honesty, though.
I will say this BATTLE RAP Tom is awesome. That's why I tell people the man can rap rap. His sense of humor right up my ally🤣 no filter all that. I love it. @FaceFamous Yeah, I get that conscious rap is an acquired taste, it's not for everyone, the reason I like Tom's conscious rap is because he's putting in the work trying to wake people up to talent and dope art, also because he calls out hypocrisy on both sides and in the industry, but I understand everyone won't like it. His clever satire and dark sense of humor are definitely things that make me like him as a human being. I've heard his music from way back before he was really famous, and he was always an unintentional asshole, lol.

I really feel like Mac went more at Nova and HOG then at Tom himself, prob to get Tom mad - same with the new diss. Also, there's background between Violent Jay trying to get with Nova while she was with Tom and her rejecting him and Mac is friends with ICP so I think that's why this seems pretty personal on some levels.
