Hey dad. A little piece of men's style advice for you. When wearing a suit, we match our belt to our shoes. Brown shoes, brown belt. Black shoes, black belt. Your choice to go with a black belt after painting his shoes as spats was the correct choice. The pocket square should match the tie, but not be the exact same color and pattern, otherwise it looks like it came from a cheap gift set. This is yet another great paint up. Good job.
Heh , those shoe types are like "going out" shoes (finer shoes) , that's why you culd see mafia wear them. A journalist wuld more likely wear matte black or brown shoes. If you struggle painting small stuff you culd use a magnify monocle like jeweleries have
Hi Dad! Now, I didn't say anything last week for Deadpool, even though there were missiles... Awesome job btw...But in this case I really have to repeat my statement from the Alexstraza vid as it's more apt than ever: "Incredible work, as always... now you just need to make [him] hover lol" Awesome work Pops! Looks just like you peeled him out of a comic book! And I'm with ya on the shorts... even during long hikes through Canadian winters...
Hi Your Dad, your thumbnail and title totally warped my brain. I was convinced I was looking at a sculpt of Superman pulling off his costume to reveal his Clark Kent true form. Took me a sec....
My Dad, I like the shoes too. Those are called reverse saddle shoes and were very classy back in the 40's/50's. Before my time so I am sketchy on the details but have always loved the look.
the shoes are called spectator shoe modern day the call them wing tip shoes but they were the Hight of fashion sense from the 1920 and beyond, the black belt is ok suits there only 2 belt choices black and brown but it came together awesomely
I don’t take any sponsors unless I like the product myself. As for the quality, it’s got 29 microns across xy means you can print down to .02mm if you wanted also has a heater which for me should be a standard in a resin printer by now.. couple other features that set it apart from the average on the market. For real if you see it on my channel it’s cos I would be willing to spend my own money on it even if it was sponsored. I’ve had a few printers given to me which I didn’t even mention on here because they weren’t worth it. So you can trust my vouch if I give it on here. But also remember this is my opinion. So things may be different for you.
Oh man that GKTwo, can I borrow it? Lol I have a GKOne and love it a lot. It handles a lot better then my anycubics and that temperature thing… I so need that.
Considering I was born in 1963 (So I could be your Dad) I've been needing cheater glasses for a few years for detailing never fear it only gets worse! :) Happy to contribute some words!
As with all your work OUTSATNDING job ,love your videos there great .. got a question for you As i know nothing about a 3D Printing So do you think this would be a good printer to start with? Anyway really enjoy all your work thanks again
That’s a good question. I think it’s a slightly above beginner printer but would be a great machine as a starter. I can’t speak for the lcd lasting yet but it does print really great and also has a heater built in. Which I have yet to fully test in a winter but I’m certain that heater is gonna save my ass a whole lot and for that heater alone this printer would be one of my first choices.
Ah, i can't paint with out a magnifier and glasses these days lol. Lovely job dude, nice save on the skin! I think you need a second shop for all these models lol. CA are great but i do find all the surface texture a bit annoying during print cleanup, if supports are in an area of texture it s quite obvious when I've sanded it.
My apologies, I meant after the white ink can you use normal paint and still get the highlighted look. After watching your videos I have bought 3 game color inks so far (red, yellow, and white) haha. @@Groundeffected
Hi Brent, I've just spent the last couple of days printing this model. How did orientate the jacket as that gave me a few problems? Cheers, Mark Edit. Forgot to say fantastic work.
I have not. I pick concrete colours and just hope for the best. Need a whole pallet of colours with names such as “stick colour” “show colour” “concrete colour”
Thank you so much. I’ve learned so much. Wish I could give back $$, but my social security money needs to be spent wisely, so I can eat and such. I’m 70 former world champion athlete in Highland Games and although I’ve built models since a young boy I found doing figures my joy de vivre.(sp) after 4 years I’ve gotten pretty good but there are always new things to learn.

Shoes are awesome that guy was clever
That guy is a shmuck
Holy shit you blew my ears out in that reveal of the final model.
I’m sorry dude. My weakest area is my sound lol. I do try though
Those shoes are spot on, for the era of Superman (50/60ies). You should be thankful to whoever gave you the idea.
You make this look sooo easy. A few jokes, a few swishes with your airbrush then bam a $600- $1000 statue. Mad props to you Poppy!
That print looks awesome even in all black.
It really does
Those shoes look sooooooo good.
Also ur Superman is on point and beautiful!!

Shoes got a real 50s kinda flair. Big dad vibes. Goes with the tailoring on the suit particularly the pants.

Superb work on saving the skin, not sure about the shoes though but excellent paint job all the same. Can't wait to see what's next.
I was wasn’t sure about the shoes at first. But it works. they had some panache to the model.

Hi Your Dad, your thumbnail and title totally warped my brain. I was convinced I was looking at a sculpt of Superman pulling off his costume to reveal his Clark Kent true form.
Took me a sec....

Damn your good... nothing else to add really :)
Wow!!!
Do you really like the print quality on the gk2 or are they sponsoring you? Like how does it compare to the saturn 2?
I don’t take any sponsors unless I like the product myself. As for the quality, it’s got 29 microns across xy means you can print down to .02mm if you wanted also has a heater which for me should be a standard in a resin printer by now.. couple other features that set it apart from the average on the market. @Groundeffected thanks, just ordered it so I will give it a try this weekend. Do you have gk2 settings for 0.030 layer height setup?
Oh man that GKTwo, can I borrow it? Lol I have a GKOne and love it a lot. It handles a lot better then my anycubics and that temperature thing… I so need that.
Do you always use sunlu Resin? Or just for this video? Any Resin recommendations from you would be appreciated.
Considering I was born in 1963 (So I could be your Dad) I've been needing cheater glasses for a few years for detailing never fear it only gets worse! :)
Happy to contribute some words!
Haha 😂 also I think that’s when my dad was born. Do you know him? Lol 😂
Super episode words.
Appreciated

What scale did you print my brother? Amazing job as always!!
Still binging...
When doing Zenithal shading do you have to use Inks or can you use non-ink paints? All your stuff looks amazing!
You can do it with normal paint. But white is a tough one to paint it goes spotty so inks is easier to get a smoother look
My apologies, I meant after the white ink can you use normal paint and still get the highlighted look. After watching your videos I have bought 3 game color inks so far (red, yellow, and white) haha. @@Groundeffected
We love you dad!!❤
🙌🏻
Hi Brent, I've just spent the last couple of days printing this model. How did orientate the jacket as that gave me a few problems?

Edit. Forgot to say fantastic work.
Basically as it is on the model is how I supported it. Support the bottoms and the inside when it gets covers
What color grey/blue did you use for the suit? Fantastic job!
I spotted Luffy!
Why can't I find these alligator clips anywhere... 😢
Great job on this hero
what is the size of this clark kent statue
Where can I get me some of those shoes? They'll look awesome with my flares
Ask yer mum 😂 worst shoes ever
Have you eard about the good news that is Pale sand VMC for concrete?
I have not. I pick concrete colours and just hope for the best. Need a whole pallet of colours with names such as “stick colour” “show colour” “concrete colour”

There are many ways to skin a cat 😉
Hi dad
Hi 👋
hi Dad what wa sthat song on reveal ?

Next video is gonna show a different set that does a great job too.
@Groundeffected thanks my dude!
😮😮😮😮 top
Words
Very well done but I'm very curious why the model doesn't have a tie lol. But that's more on the modeler than you, the painter. Great work!
First
Groundeffected is painting something red and blue again. Shocking.
It does seem like that’s a theme haha
