Difference between Liberty and Liberty Renegade: The Renegade served as the "off-road-ready" model of the Jeep Liberty between midyear 2002 and 2007. Based on the base Sport' model, it added the following equipment: a 3.7L "Power-Tech" V6 engine, power windows and door locks with keyless entry, cloth-and-vinyl-trimmed seating surfaces, air conditioning, sixteen-inch (16") color-keyed aluminum-alloy wheels (in Cactus Green, Mineral Gray, or Light Khaki), gray front and rear decorative wheel flares, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), front-mounted fog lamps, and an AM/FM stereo with single-disc CD player. Jeep Liberty and Reliability is like trying to mix water with oil. convincing someone that Jeep Liberty is reliable is like convincing someone that the moon is made out of cheese.
You need to look for the STS-V Randy. I had two and they were by far the best car I’ve ever owned. And yes by 2006 they had the N* figured out. Also the airbag light is very typical on these. Most of the time it’s the sensor on the passenger seat
That Volvo just finished his run in period and wil run for many more safe miles. I know there are a lot of v70's around here in europe with that same engine(or even the 2.0 4 cillinder or the 2.5 5 cillinder) with 3 to 400.000 miles easy. I had an S80 with a 2.9 that had the sam amount of mileage as this V70 and it run like new so quiet. And the interior of almost every Volvo wil if you maintain it regularly hold up very wel(even like new in some cases).
The silver jeep liberty 🗽 with 106k on it , as you pointed out the window was opened a touch and was taped with black gorilla tape, I noticed a big ol' dent in that door. Curious if the dent is affecting the window going in either direction!!🤔🤔🤔🤔
That wrangler is a TJ. They made TJs until 2006. 2007-2018 JK and 2018 and up are JLs. My husband's first vehicle was a 2000 Wrangler Sahara edition but his had the 4.0 I6 engine. Some of the TJs came with the I4s.
Randy, look at a tailight if you want to find the car's year... it is always molded in the light cover.. usually at the bottom... as part of the part number or DOT code...
With instrument clusters like liberty in Chrysler products flip the key to on and off multiple times you’ll get your codes. Since you can’t use a code reader there.
1997- 2005 TJ models looked like the yellow one the YJ had the square headlights 95 and back ect... I think Randy only seen Jk Jeeps before he bought one 😂
Randy, that was a Jeep TJ in your video. They didn't introduce the newer Wrangler with the look you're thinking of until 2006, that's when the big, boxy JK came out, which then evolved into the JL, which you own.
Had to rebuild our 2000 & 2004 Northstar Cadillacs. Only got $2500 for the 2004 in 2015. 115,000 mile with 30,000 on the rebuilt engine and in good condition overall. I could have gotten twice that for a Civic.
Wassup randy, its Taae from Indianapolis love the videos, no matter if im at work or makin dinner if i see you posted a video im watching it instantly & making sure i live it before the videos start keep up the awesome work and love the camera big difference!
Why anyone would want an actual H1 is beyond me....they only have 300hp and were designed to break down constantly to milk the defense department on parts sales.
FE, yes. 427 unlikely. 428,390,361, 352 are a lot more common. Given the 4 barrel and the Davis unified ignition, someone was looking for some grunt- so 390 or 428. There were a lot of 390s in Ford trucks.
IF Randy did manage to get it and I could manage to come up with just a tad bit more cash, I'd drive from Arkansas to Weird Beard and buy it for myself. I had a 99 Deville and it had 12?,000 and the fuel pump went plus the back shocks plus needed the cadillac converter replaced plus some other things. It was gonna cost way more than the car was worth to fix it so i traded it off. It had the NorthStar V8 in it and man o man would it ran like a scalded dog. I LOVED that car and miss it alot. Made alot of trips n it tho. I put over 70,000 miles on it. It had 58,000 when I bought it.
The Jeep liberty CRD common rail desiel trAil rated was a tough and very capable jeep I know sounds funny but they had very good torqe once the little turbo spooled
Auto auction rebuilds ,Weird beard, western chaplin, rich rebuilds and now and then sam crack all great to watch the first couple are the best but ,thanks for entertaining us great walk around.
The V6 STS would have some potential and the silver Liberty may have sat but could be brought back pretty easily. Also that V70 Wagon would be pretty sweet especially because its in good shape. Love the videos.
That Liberty just needs the fenders put back on. I wanted to see if it would run as it has a buy it now for only $450.00 and it is still for sale and has a clean title.
Hey them 4.3 are very strong and great motors better than the 5.3 a little less hp but very dependable had one with over 140,000miles never a lick of trouble
The Jeep window is taped up because it's a 2005 they had some issues with the window regulators I have one the CRD engine though... looks good. My alternator on my liberty regulator didn't work from new.. I could see it in the lights.. there is a recall that needs to be done to that liberty.. free of charge a rear hitch to protect that gas tank...nice Cadillac
when hummer h1 first came out it was using the 5.7 v8 and the 6.5 detroit disel engine till 2005 in 2006 the last h1 hummer rolled off the lot with a 6.6 duramax v8 then in 2017 the h1 came bk as a military suv was still using gm parts and the duramax and the alison transmission witch they change it from a h1 to a humvee
That V70 had a decent trim package, not only did you have the BLIS (Blindspot monitor) but TPMS and Rear parking sensors, could be a decent deal too as it's a reliable platform and good engine
Very smooth video from that gimbal. The only thing I notice is that, occasionally, it seems to be "looking" too high or too low, or it slips slightly past your intended target. It looks great though.
I looked at a few v70’s when I was looking for a car for work all 2006 ones and they all had bad transmission ever single one had reverse out I don’t think that issue was fixed till 2010
Randy be nimble,
Randy be quick,
Randy be playing with his Gimble stick.
😂😂😂😂😂😎👍👍👀👁👁👀🤩
You're a punny guy

Just watched the Weston video and yes he did come to Oklahoma to look at that hummer

Jeep Liberty and Reliability is like trying to mix water with oil.
convincing someone that Jeep Liberty is reliable is like convincing someone that the moon is made out of cheese.
Yaaaayy perfect timing 😎
The Cadillac, the grey Liberty and the beautiful Volvo V70 could be scores!
Randy should change the channel name to " Auto Action Random"
The northstar was fixed, but it took many years, you can actually upgrade the head studs one at a time, and rectify the issue
I work at DAA and that Hummer was garnering all types of attention. It’s crazy knowing where that thing has been and where it’s ended up.
Volvos are really nice riding and looking cars.
You need to look for the STS-V Randy. I had two and they were by far the best car I’ve ever owned.
And yes by 2006 they had the N* figured out.

Hello from Scotland Randy 🏴 just back from work, couldn’t have timed this any better 😂
Flip that Liberty. Clean it up, fix the AC, and send it on.
The new non-vortec 4.3s are actually decent on power
@Curtis Fleabag the 6.2 has 420hp the 5.3 has 355hp
randy- the elevation package is a trim level just above basic, it pretty much just gives you those blacked out wheels and suspension upgrades.
That Volvo just finished his run in period and wil run for many more safe miles. I like that SIlver Liberty, they are pretty dependable. STS looks good as well. Great Video Randy. Hardest working man on RUclips!
Great content
Weird beird is doing a great job for u
Randy, look at a tailight if you want to find the car's year... it is always molded in the light cover.. usually at the bottom... as part of the part number or DOT code...
All that tells you is the first year that part was used. They might use the same lens for two, three, five, heck 15 or 20 years on some trucks
With instrument clusters like liberty in Chrysler products flip the key to on and off multiple times you’ll get your codes. Since you can’t use a code reader there.
90s jeeps had square headlights (until 1997) in 1997 that yellow jeep style was introduced
1997- 2005 TJ models looked like the yellow one the YJ had the square headlights 95 and back ect... I think Randy only seen Jk Jeeps before he bought one 😂
Liked the GMC at the beginning.. Needs the airbags definitely, a good cleaning, and perhaps a tyre alignment for good measure
You can't give away a Liberty around here, Jeeps do NOT sell around here for some reason
Before I bought my charger I owned a 2006 sts and I absolutely loved it. They are very nice vehicles.
Randy, that was a Jeep TJ in your video. They didn't introduce the newer Wrangler with the look you're thinking of until 2006, that's when the big, boxy JK came out, which then evolved into the JL, which you own.
Not surprising that Hummer still floating around and hasn't sold I'm just surprised it's at a different yard location..
Not all Northstars are bad Randy, I have a 95 and it is perfect. The worst was late 90's early 2000's
Had to rebuild our 2000 & 2004 Northstar Cadillacs. Only got $2500 for the 2004 in 2015. 115,000 mile with 30,000 on the rebuilt engine and in good condition overall. I could have gotten twice that for a Civic.
Look at that Dodge with a stack pipes in the back of the bed that looks like an awesome truck
Wassup randy, its Taae from Indianapolis love the videos, no matter if im at work or makin dinner if i see you posted a video im watching it instantly & making sure i live it before the videos start keep up the awesome work and love the camera big difference!
The new camera is great Randy love the Copart walk arounds.
That motor in that Hummer is a 427 Cobra Jet
Why anyone would want an actual H1 is beyond me....they only have 300hp and were designed to break down constantly to milk the defense department on parts sales.

Your content Randy gets better and better!! Take care and stay safe!
I love how that car attacked you a few times. Good stuff.
This is strange because I was watching a video about the history of hummer when I got the notification for this video
Randy, when you had the camera spinning around like you did, that could have been called 'auto auction rollercoasters' !!😆👍
the panning is nice and smooth, and entertaining when you bang it on your head lol
Volvo wagon! I'm down! Love those wagons, all of em!
Three good looking cars to choose from today Randy wish I could buy that Caddy, but shipping to Connecticut would be too much for me.
There is a jeep wrangler that only has 400 some odd miles you should check it out but idk if its at ur local copart
What's wrong with the sound?
The Cadillac driver quarters paint is off a little. Noticed it as you walked up at first.
Randy, John is, other than Monkey Wrench Mike who is the best, a great companion for your Co-Part Walk Arounds.
Well done! :)
I might know who is not.LOL.
My dad had an 04 liberty renegade 4*4 with the 3.7 v6 for his rural paper route. Lasted well over 300k
PDR the dent on the rear passenger door on the 2nd Liberty.
That TJ is really a 2002, that model ran from the mid 90s to the mid 2000s.
Legalities? What happened? Did someone haul off and sue you or something?
Well your kinda right about the Jeep Wrangler looking more 90s. It's the TJ version made from 1997 to 2006.
Hey them 4.3 are very strong and great motors better than the 5.3 a little less hp but very dependable had one with over 140,000miles never a lick of trouble
The Jeep window is taped up because it's a 2005 they had some issues with the window regulators I have one the CRD engine though... looks good. That GMC is a good looking truck!! The 2016-2018’s has no push to start ignitions.. that Camera is so much better then Go-Pro
Airbag sensor is by the radiator.(bottom).yellow color(remember)...lol
when hummer h1 first came out it was using the 5.7 v8 and the 6.5 detroit disel engine till 2005 in 2006 the last h1 hummer rolled off the lot with a 6.6 duramax v8 then in 2017 the h1 came bk as a military suv was still using gm parts and the duramax and the alison transmission witch they change it from a h1 to a humvee
What are the chances?
Hey what about that Honda accord next to the caddy?!
they are too expensive..
@@maartenyzer4121 but they're so worth it lmao
@@outmybitness i do too
I actually have a 2004 accord and it's never let me down even at 450k ❤
@@outmybitness here a crv ,has 100000 still strong
That fake hummer would be an awesome project Randy...
I had an 05 liberty renegade and I loved it. Mine had bars across the tail lights too
Your video and audio are improving all the time. Thanks for spending the extra dough, Randy
Id get the jeeps..... Something about the yellow one calls to me. LOL.
The yellow Jeep is The Jeep Wrangler TJ model it was manufactured from 1997-2006
That V70 had a decent trim package, not only did you have the BLIS (Blindspot monitor) but TPMS and Rear parking sensors, could be a decent deal too as it's a reliable platform and good engine
No hail damage on the jeep after that storm?
Intro: Rev up your engines...ups. Wrong channel.
gm is bringing hummer name back to life as a eletric truck and suv for 2021 or 2022 model the truck is in testing in michigan
Like the Jeep Liberty and the caddy! The video and audio is great!
I'd like to see some video's of you selling some of the cars you repair at the auction.
Doesn’t that tell you something, when a person carries a quart of oil in the vehicle?
they care..
Love your old mopars good job
Very smooth video from that gimbal. The only thing I notice is that, occasionally, it seems to be "looking" too high or too low, or it slips slightly past your intended target. It looks great though.
panning is good but sound is distorted... Mic gain is too high I think
I’m loving the new camera and audio on your videos keep up the good work love the Copart walk around
wow, is this four wheel drive??.....I dont know i'm just sitting in the driver seat.....you tell me??
Tjs was that body style till 06
I was watching weird beards video on the coronets body work and as soon as it finished boom notification on aar heck yes.
Jeep is a good one with a little PDR and good clean quick flip
That's a chery distributor but they sit in the back ford they sit in the front 🤔
Nice cars. What equipment using to do your video?
the listing on that yellow wrangler was right. Jeep made that body style until 2006
I find it hard to believe Randy didn't know this was the same H1 as Western.
He's at same yard😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I looked at a few v70’s when I was looking for a car for work all 2006 ones and they all had bad transmission ever single one had reverse out I don’t think that issue was fixed till 2010
Thought you would have started the truck with the smoke stacks it looked pretty cool
Did anyone count the times Randy says damit in this video? I know it’s hot but......damn !
The white chop shop challenger would be perfect for a race car!
Hi Randy i like your channel too much i just have question how much cost the yellow jeep thanks dude .....
STS and Liberty are the ones I'd go for.
the headlights are custom chris fix has the same ones
Randy i´d love to see that volvo featured in your channel.
Could that fake HUMMER be on an 2000 Ford Expedition frame? It looks awesome though.
Are the AAR channel initials related to the AAR Cuda, or is it just a happy coincidence?
Yellow Jeep is a TJ which ran 97-06
Wow! 100 haters pushed the thumbs down. Anyway great content Randy!👍👍👍👍👍
Love the camerawork, Randy 👍
PUYALLUP WASHINGTON!!! I LIVE HERE!!! Haha the coincidence!! I would have never thought he would mention the pine on his channel 😅
Man that truck with the smoke stacks.
