And then we contribute to climate change due to hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants from more air conditioning which absorb 150 to 5,000 times more of the sun’s energy than carbon dioxide does. It's going to be a feedback loop of increasing global temperatures due to using Aircon releasing cfcs. Better Ventilation systems and Fans would be a better alternative which uses 76% less energy although not the best plan for now but it is better than the former. The Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol helped lessen the hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants (HFCs) to lesser harming (CFCs) but it still not enough to meet our goals of slowing to stopping climate disasters like this.
