I'm calling BS on the "employee accidentally cremated while napping" story. That was a murder. There is NO WAY ON GOD'S EARTH you just like "OOPS! 12:11 nobody wants to be left out of a joke. In one of the world wars planes used to come back riddled with bullet holes which are the red circles on the plane. Engineers wanted to put armor on the parts where the plane got shot but later they realized that the planes returning were not shot in the vital parts like the engines or cockpit and that's why they got to fly back. They needed to put armor on the places where there weren't any bullet holes. I think it's called survivor ship bias. So apply that to old music.

It’s the same thing with music. Basically, the only old music that is still around is the good stuff.
And because the old music we remember is really good, we think it was ALL good, when in reality most of it was bad.
