It's interesting how the kart line is so different than the car line, especially in 16. You don't seem to have to set up totally wide to take it flat. I also get a kick out of the tires ballooning up on the straights and shrinking in the brake zones.
Hey Alex, I was running out this weekend in 125 shifter as well. Do you balance your tires? I have tried lead weights as well as bead balancing. Lead was great at first but towards the end of the session I would get vibrations back. Beads were about the same as if I didn’t balance the tires at all. What do you recommend? Or just deal with the vibrations?
I don’t balance my tires, generally it’s not necessary unless you are remounting used tires. In that case I would use the small lead stick on weights. If you pick up too much rubber on the cool down lap that could also cause vibrations.

I can imagine it’s a lot different. The tire ballooning is pretty hilarious. Definitely affects final drive ratio
