  • Here is a quick guide to find the option for postcode search on VW factory Nav, also works for Scoda and Seat. Might be the same for Audi too.

Thanks - - the abbreviation " Ptcd " - NEVER meant postcode to me - why not just "Post" ??????? Overlooked that for three years - thank you .

My 2016 Octavia will only give the postcode option if i know the street/road name. Not very good at all when you only have town and post code.

Hi...i have a 2012 vw passat. When i press address on the sat nav screen the only option that comes up is "country"...it used to come up with "postcode in uk" but this option has disappeared. Does anyone know how to get it back?

I always try to avoid the post code option ever since I put one in to visit a non league football ground and rather than taking me to the ground it left me stranded in the middle of an industrial estate, proudly say that I have reached my destination!! When visiting a National Trust property, you really have no option as they tend not to have house numbers...

Thanks, I've looked through the manual for ages and couldn't enter a postcode, much appreciated, I was about to buy an updated DS card but this has saved me wasting more money!

Thanks, just tried to figure this out in one that I'm using and couldn't find the option! Terrible place to put, probably the most commonly used way of finding a destination.
