How? Please explain why you think his interpretation about a leak of his brief is not a betrayal… I think you’re sick. You get off by advocating for the murder of people, it gives you a sense of power. You call Alitos opinion “rich”, which honestly makes no dam sense. The Supreme Court made that decision, not just Alito. Justices are appointed by a president of the United States, which is all by design “baby girl”. It’s to weed out the evil from the good. Good will always overcome evil, why don’t you just give up?
Leaker regardless of which side they were on was right, how dare you speak of privacy when you take away everyone else’s.

Bodily autonomy is not an absolute right. I forfeit that right if I commit a crime, or if I engage in activities that incur other responsibilities onto me. If I have a child, it is my responsibility to provide for it, and if I cannot, to find someone that can. I have relinquished my right to my autonomy temporarily by engaging in behavior with specific temporal consequences. I relinquish my right to my autonomy by living under certain governments/ communities. The question then isn’t what rights I may or may not have, but what rights cannot be taken away. Bodily autonomy is not one of them. The right to life is.

Since the argument was that abortion rights aren't expressly allowed in the constitution it could be sent back to states I would say the same should be said of SCOTUS's desire for privacy. If it isn't in the constitution then I guess they can STFU.

The point of the judiciary is precisely to be against “the people.” It stands to uphold the correct interpretation of the law, and not the erroneous beliefs of “the people,” as intended. The unethical leaker was simply consistent in their disregard for ethics and morality.

When Trump suggested there could be a 2nd Amendment solution for the Supreme Court--DURING HIS FIRST ELECTION CAMPAIGN --THAT was a DIRECT THREAT. As soon as Alito explains how Trump's DIRECT THREATS don't count? I'll take his position seriously.
I totally support overturning Roe v. Wade because it was "egregiously wrong," but I would still bet that one of the conservative justices are behind the leak. This must have been leaked only when Brett Kavanaugh was looking to change his vote and/or leaning towards joining the Chief Justice to just uphold the Mississippi law without actually overturning Roe v. Wade, at least not yet. If I had to guess, one of the conservative Justices (Alito or Thomas) probably gave one of their clerks a "verbal" order to leak a physical printed copy of the opinion to someone in the press and to not tell them any other information to ensure "plausible deniability" in case they were to be implicated. This way there would be no email, phone, or text message documentation of the conversation.
Then Politico could scan and upload the opinion that would be leaked. Notice how only the majority opinion was leaked, not the dissent. Obviously did not want to provide any information from the dissent which could be used by our liberal press to justify Roe, they only wanted an emphasis on the conservative opinion. Best case scenario, the "leaker" would never be caught. Worst case scenario, one of the clerks would get fired or resign and then get a high-paying job at some law firm anyways, and the justice could claim they were "betrayed" by that clerk and there would be no documentation to ever implicate them directly. Either way, if there was any decision worth leaking in SCOTUS history, this would be one of them.

When the “right”, or more accurately the privilege/license to own slaves was abolished people didn’t take it sitting down. It’s no surprise that when people are given a privilege, they don’t want those privileges removed, regardless of the moral implications of those privileges. In this case however, it was the protection of those privileges that was removed rather than the privilege themselves. But history will recognize, as it did with slavery, that persons are not entitled to any privilege or license to do anything. No individual can have a privilege to own another nor kill another. No individual has a right to own or kill another. And the court, as it shouldn’t have with the Dredd Scott decision, recognized their error, though not fully, in a federal mandate that enshrines such a violation of the natural and constitutional law.
