I cast aluminium like these blokes. Also zinc, brass and other alloys. The subject of bare feet vs wearing boots is an interesting one. Once or twice I've accidentally splashed molten aluminium onto my boots and had the metal go through lace holes onto my feet, resulting in burning my feet. There's a discussion about whether we get more serious burns when this happens, compared with directly splashing it onto bare feet. If this happens, it can immediately be brushed off the skin with a wet rag, resulting in a much less severe burn. Having the metal going through a gap in the top of a boot can be worse as the boot can't be pulled off fast enough. The metal sits on the skin inside the boot, causing pretty severe damage.
good thoughts. but they make safety boots that are easily removed for such jobs. there are also work boots that have a large heavy duty cover that goes over the top of the boot just for such things. looks like a big wrap around flap on top that seals all open areas. there really is never a time where bare feet are ever a good idea for safety. lose your foot or toes and you can’t walk to do work. i protect my feet at all times@@and7barton
Muito bom o trabalho, a preocupação seria sobre aquele Sr. que testa as buzinas, no tempo de 16:36 . Ele deve sair do trabalho com uma dor de cabeça danada por causa do barulho.
First thing they are not air horses, they are electric horns, but everything is the same as all the other work shops in Pakistan, dirt everywhere, no shoes, loose fitting clothing, no work benches
There is nothing about this process that is efficient. The Pakistan economy is on the verge of complete collapse do to the typical quality and efficiency shown in this video.
I don’t agree with you on that one, Pakistan and other similar countries are working on the principles and technology that was used 50 to a 100 yrs or more, but they are still working, still repairing and make do and mend, not throw plastic away and fill landfills up,
@@theonlybuzz1969 Yep agree, the Pakistani people are so resilient and capable they could live forever utilising items us westerners would think is rubbish, and throw away. I have complete respect for their ability to rebuild anything and use it over again. The rest of the world could learn a lot from them. I just wish I saw earmuffs, and steel capped boots in these videos sometimes.

The central support is poorly assembled, it should go between the two plates of each horn and the grower washer together with the nut, the way the grower is set does not fulfill its function !!!!!

Workers in sandles on filthy floors working with molten metal. What could possibly go wrong?

Pakistan is not the entitled US.
@@dennisneo1608 hi Dennis, don’t know much about the US I don’t live there and happy not to.
Jup, the packages at the end clearly say "Electric Horn", too.
How ironic. The simplest thing they could do to improve the quality of street life would be to destroy all the horns.
