Half of higher education is useful, half of it isn't. 4 year degrees should be 2 years, going all the way back to high school. Most people should graduate at 16 and head to a 2 year college. You do not need to 3 P.E. electives, 2 courses of history, and 2 course of advanced english to do a technical job. Colleges need to cut out all the fat, the same goes for high school.

Don't get misguided, entrepreneurship is a long term game, you do not need to rush. Mainstream entrepreneurs are trying to make it look like you have to rush, but you don't. I normally don't agree with him but you gotta admit this is true. My most memorable experiences from high school were from hands on classes like wood and metal shop and going on field trips. I barely remember anything from classes like science and math cause all we would do is read from a text book.

Education actually does matter. It all depends on where you live. If you live in America or any other first world country, it probably doesn't. If you live in a third world country and you either don't have enough money or don't have the balls to start your own business(because let's be honest, not everyone has leading qualities), your level of education is gonna matter a lot.

I have recently acquired my second degree, and this degree has opened a lot of doors for me. It has changed my life completely. I secured a job with Deloitte and I wouldn't have acquired it without my two degrees. I have escaped poverty through education. Education and university are essential for alleviating poverty and for the overall well-being of society.
