Among those horrific, heart wrenching stories, many miracles happened.

I absolutely love your podcast. However, today's, as of this moment, is my very favorite. I was born in Northern Normandy to a mom who was raised during the Nazi invasion. My grandfather and uncle were warriors. My grandfather survived life as a POW in a German war camp in Germany. My uncle went to Morocco at 15 to fight, avoiding capture and forced into labor in a German labor camp. He did not live too many years afterward. The trauma and PTSD my mom suffered from was horrible. My grandmother died from TB 3 years before the wars end. Mom orphaned at seven. I always knew that somehow I felt the trauma in my soul. I was born with it. This man is most honorable. Thank you for having him as a guest for us, your followers to be introduced to. I felt our oneness with this guest. God connects all down to each and every molecule, atom, proton, simply everything! Powerful!

The amazing resilience of a refugee. My daughter-in-law's parents were south american refugees in the 80's. they have told me their flight story. I have so much respect for the people who have taken this journey. They deserve to be Americans. It is how this country was made. WE forget that and the struggle of our ancestors.

Thank you for having this guest on. Both he and something you said made me understand that I did break a ancestor chain. Not as dramatic as what this gentleman went through but it still caused PTSD and I didn't understand I broke this chain until about a year before my grandma passed away and she told me the truth about some things. As a kid I went through what other kids have gone through unfortunately a kind of abuse I wish all could break the chains. My mom knew what her boyfriend was doing and did nothing. Before they broke up and I got to be about 12 I started refusing to go over there even though it meant I was staying alone at home by myself. That was the first links being broken. I also used to get in a lot of fights we moved a lot and I was very much a loner. I never started them but I finished them in a very violent way, I saw red and that's all I saw. After she broke up with him she married another abusive person. He tried the same thing when he was drunk, I either went out my bedroom window or I fought back and he never succeeded. But he was still abusive and violent. I fought back he didn't know how to handle that so he was mostly mentally abusive to me, not the same with my mother. He got really bad one day and I called my grandma, then he and my mother disappeared, then I heard her crying and making other noises and yelling stop I dropped the phone, went to the bedrooms the door was open and he had her pinned down on the bed and was punching her. I picked up the rifle and pointed right at him and told him to stop he wouldn't, I pulled the trigger but it jammed that made him stop, when it jammed I did do something stupid I threw it straight back behind me, but the Goddess was with me and it didn't go off, I told him if he ever did it again I would kick his butt so bad he would be in the hospital for weeks. I got back on the phone grandma told me to pack for a couple of weeks and she was coming to get me, that was breaking the chains more. A few months later I moved in with my father, but that was only 6 months. He was emotionally abusive and was different towards me compared to my much younger half brother and sister, and my step mother who is only 8 years older than me. I remember his neglect and his non emotional ways when he and my mom were married. My step mother came at me one night I tripped over something and flipped her over me and started to go after her. But someone that was there stopped me. I disappeared for 3 days staying with friends non of them knew. Finally I went back to grandmas full time and lived with her. I was 16. Later I found out why my grandma raised my mom on her own in a time women didn't get divorced and do that, so she broke some of the first chains. Not long after I moved in with her she helped me kick speed cold turkey. I got better and started my search I knew there was something out there I didn't know if it was the old man with the white beard or what. But I was searching and reading everything. My x was emotionally abusive but when it started getting physical I said no more. A big test came when we were separated those last two years but under the same roof because we couldn't kick each other out, he lived in the basement my daughter and I lived in the rest of the house finally he moved out. During that time I was trying to do the church thing but it wasn't working even though I tried for years. We lived in the middle of the woods being in them was where my spirit started to grow and learn. Since then I have met and married a wonderful Man but I look back and see all the broken chains. Grandma lived with us the last 6 years of her life. That's when I found out what her father did to all his daughters and her mother knew. He was also abusive, both my grandmas grandfather's were one like her father the other very abusive to all 5 of his wives. Grandma broke the first of the chains, I broke most of the rest, and my daughter broke the last of them. We each finally found our paths to peace and source. He is right though I understand what he means by one sword keeps the other from being drawn. My path of violence was very different and not as horrible as what his was, but there are those of us that have a path of violence we walk through but then can turn it into a way of teaching and helping others. Blessings Be to you both. 🙏💖

Here to break ancestral lineage of abuses, sexual, domestic violence, alcoholic.
We pick a hard life or family to incarnate into , this is needed to clear it all.
I call it a transmuter of negative energies.
So be proud of yourself and what a great grandmother and forgiving our mothers is hard but it's actually what frees our soul's even the molesters and that's the hardest ..

One of the most moving talks I've heard. Tu Lam, I admire you very much. Your stories of all you've been through made me cry. (I'm and empath & healer. I "feel" the pain of others.) Your statement that "you can't get rid of bad energy, you can only transmute it", was eye-opening for me. Sometimes you "know" something and then it's presented in a certain way and suddenly you KNOW it on a whole different level. Thank you. I appreciate you!

My son was turned in to call of duty when he was a child. I had NO legal ability to disallow this. Today, my son, at 27, BELIEVES he is not shaped by video games. He does not see how calloused he’s become after being such a loving nurturing soul until he was seven. He speaks about the art of war. This is NOT how I tried to bring him up. I meditate over him, pray over him. He’s achieved a lot: went to college, works hard, works for an environmental firm. There is a true dichotomy in his life. I wish someone like this man would speak THE TRUTH to my son.

This was probably one of the most powerful interviews you’ve ever done, Alex. I cannot put in words how much this resonated with me. I come from a violent past. I had to fight, in every manner and sense of the word, just to survive my childhood. I love how Tu has been able to take what happened to him and first turn it into a means of survival and then draw wisdom from it to create a beautiful life. Peace comes from the ability to derive beauty from all things. I cannot say that I have gotten there, but now I have hope that I can. 🕊️ 🫶🏻🙏🏼

Yes PTSD SURE AS HELL IS NOT ABOUT TOO MUCH FANTASY, ITS TOO MUCH REALITY!!!
You can tell people things that would curl their hair and straighten it in the same sentence. The medical community just shoves pills at you and Thank God for psychedelics ( edibles for Grandma)!
You have so much physical pain from “work injuries” that you meditate to block out the physical pain and the edibles take that physical pain away so you can deal with your mental issues.
You can’t t😢ll people what you can’t unsee. And some of it you have things that you just need to silently let go.
You don’t need to write a book or a movie. That has been over done.
You want your peace and move on.
Thank you Tu Lam for telling one facet of the truth!!
Thank you Alex for your leadership and courage to bring this to all those who want to just let it go!!

I loved this entire episode so much. What a beautiful soul. Thank you Alex for blessing us with these guests who give us such insight and help us in our own spiritual journeys. Also, thank you for mentioning what the Dalai Lama said about "dont upset grandma"😊 Oh my goodness, that helped me so much. I often feel stuck in my spiritual growth because of fear/guilt that I'm abandoning the belief system of my family, the things I was programmed to believe. Sometimes it feels like my new beliefs are dishonoring my ancestors. But it seems that the Dalai Lama would say "Take them along with you - take the beauty and truths of your ancestors' religion with you because there was value in that too"🙏
I think everything that takes us closer to God, and to universal divine Love, is what matters.

What a sweet... articulate... caring... intelligent gentleman. I will never in my lifetime, experience such depths of darkness however this gentleman shared how deep he went and then how he turned himself around and helping others gain peace in heart... now aint that a true warrior? Beautiful story.

One of my favorite episodes yet! I love that man. I’ve worked with the military as a nurse, I’m a military mom, and was a military wife. Maybe it’s a trauma bond but this interview was very touching, captivating, and healing. I may have found “the way” and career path to look into further during this video. We need to take care of our warriors and not just throw pills at them. Thank you Alex! ❤

Been your follower from day one.. Followed /digested/shared most of your shows until "channeling"...friends and i debate about its authenticity.. Could it be our own subconcious and not necessarily deities?... Personally.. have received inspiration from "someone.. Somewhere.." however they were random.. Snippets of guidance/wisdom.... Not hour- long "messages".... Wish you could shed more light on "channeling".. Thank you and God bless you.

This interview was so powerful, the pain this man went through is beyond imaginable. My heart breaks for what he went through, we need to thank our men and women for what they do for our country. Shame on the goverment for turning their backs on them.... God bless you Tu... keep going, you deserve all the joy possible in this crazy game we are in...

When I started watching this video, I could not have imagined the direction it would take.
I have so much respect now for the warrior that I didn’t understand about them being the protectors of the ones who cannot protect themselves.
The terrible things that are done to the innocent ones who just want to live their lives but the bullies who want to dominate and destroy them need the warriors in a way that I didn’t expect.
We loose so many warriors in war and they are the Best and the Bravest! What a calling to be a Warrior ❤

Alex, thank you so much for th podcasts that you choose. I was a drug addict for 50 years. I walked into a recovery center 5 years ago on April 21. I still go once a month after five years. In my journey, I consumed MANY psychedelics for fun in my 20s. I wish I knew then what I have learned in the last 5 years. Your show is one that has enabled me to learn so much about so many things I'm interested in. Thanks again for what you do. You have to be an angel sent to earth for the 21st century. Love and light, always.

The reason why this hits home to me is twofold. First of all, I felt his authentic soul. Second, I came from a critically traumatic childhood. I continued into an adulthood unhealed, so I continued to manifest complex trauma until I was about 35. I then found my healer and have been going for 14 years. I have a child this lives with complex diagnosis. My purpose has to be his example. I know that my purpose is to help those who are struggling, suffering and lost. We are all one. Jesus is my hero. Love yourself and love everyone.
You are dead on about generational trauma. Please research the studies done by Bruce D. Perry, and how they are identifying changes in our DNA caused by generational trauma. Early childhood trauma is the most devastating trauma we could experience.

I have been listening to your show for quite some time now. It is truly enlightening and opening the eyes of so many people. You are doing amazing and powerful things. My other favorite podcast is the Shawn Ryan Show, where I finished the second interview with Tu Lam and Shawn Ryan. Tu Lam is an inspiration and an amazing soul. His story hit home with me and brought me to tears. His book, The Way Of Ronin, is amazing. Thank you again, Alex. You and your show rock!!! 🙏

I can totally relate to the first part of his story as far as how his early life was as I was born in a refugee camp or sometimes called displaced persons camp in Germany after the Holocaust. My mother was Roman Catholic and Lithuanian and my father was polish and Jewish. I was 3 lb 3 oz at birth and also born breech. The fact that I even survived my birth was a miracle. We all have trials and tribulations some of us more than others. I can empathize with this man and his life and his survival. May the blessings be for him and all his loved ones. I really love this show by the way. Always excellent in my opinion.
