What to expect on your first day: "Oh wow, this looks *amazing* ...ok, taking off an- what the hell? Why did I blow up? ...ahh well, buggy, right, its an alpha. I was told to expect some weird shit. Ok, let's leave the hospital and try again. let's go down the elevator and... ... ...where is the elevator? Maybe I didn't call it correctly? ... What do you mean elevators on NB are borked?" Ok ok, I am harping on worst case potentials. That start up *will* happen sooner or later. Hopefully not your first one though. Be prepared... Murphy's Law says that if something *can* go wrong, it *will* go wrong. Star Citizen takes that to an extreme. However two things to keep in mind will help a lot. First, if you expect everything to fall apart, you are prepared for when it will. You will explode, sometimes inexplicably. Often because you encountered another person, and they were either worried about your motives, or they had the ethics of a drowning rat. And second, *play with other people.* I cannot stress this one enough. The game is a lot of fun, even when it is busy bing SC, when you are playing in the company of others. Get on their discord. Share those laughs. Crack jokes about that thing that frustrated you when solo. Some of the most fun I've had in SC was helping someone deal with the aftermath of one of their bugs. Or being helped for the same reason. Some of my best sessions started with "Can someone give me a lift?"
IF they find it playable at all. I tired years ago on free trial with 1060 6gb and my old pc and it was...not exactly playable, struggling to open a door in 1fps isnt fun.
Great video, but really the Aurora MR? I am new to the game, but after cargo wouldn't attach to the grid after 3.24.3 and they didn't fix. So for me the Aurora gave me a bad taste in my mouth. So I traded my Aurora MR in and got and Avenger Titan. That made things playable again love the game.
not a bad upgrade. When 4.0 comes out you're going to be grateful that you got that avenger titan. Also, don't forget you can rent larger ships at kiosks at different spaceports in different planetary cities. They can help with trying to make more once you've earned some creds
Fantastic camera work
Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words.

Feels like real progress can finally start. Or they have to come up with a whole lot of why not.
Yes! CIG got me excited enough to start a RUclips channel. Let's hope it goes well! Thanks for watching.

My 1060 did fine until I upgraded it last year. Star Citizen is much more cpu demanding.
