I've been playing since I was in middle school! My advice would be practicing your line hitting. A lot of people block cross because that is the easier spot to hit at. If the blocker does go line you can aim even past the line and do a block out.
I typically move outside the boundaries so if the set is too far out I can reach it and if the set is too in court I can run inward. If you start too inside the court and the set is far out it would be hard to get it over. It's all about anticipating bad sets and being best prepared for them.
Volleyball club was cancelled at school today, and we have a tournament in 8 days which is kind of sad cause we don't get to practice, but I'm already less sad because of the new video
Practice getting a consistent toss with good topspin and height. A good toss will go a long way. Your approach is the same as your spike approach. For me, once I started getting a good toss I was able to get my serves over more consistently.
