    If the inflation does not go down, the average joe is not buying any over priced home. I don't get how that is so difficult to understand

    Tesla has returned to $230. I sold out of panic. Patience is the key but fear takes that away.

    I think everyone is banking on rate cuts to kick start the market again, but I don't think that's happening anytime soon. Condos are still way overpriced

      Condos are not moving right now. We have seen that all year.

      @propertytwins yup! I've been watching MLS listing's sit for triple digit days on market only to be relisted for almost the same price. 500K for a 1 bedroom condo is ridiculous, not going to happen.

    condos are a hard sell, most people dont want to pay mortgage + condo fees. Most people also dont want to raise a family in an apartment.
    I have close to enough money in cash to buy any condo i want but my money has been in investments and honestly i would rather earn 20-60k a year on my money then "own a condo" - no thanks. my rent + living expenses and then some are free thanks to my investments.

    the one thing that annoys me about the information on the TREB site, is not everyone can access the information easily. There are some helpful metrics which the buyer can use in order to make a better more informed decision that are hidden behind an Agent.

      I think all information should be made available to Buyers and Sellers. There is no need to protect it.

      The HouseSigma app gives more info than an average MLS user, not the full details, but it will show the past sales and listings from a few years ago.

      @@propertytwins Im keeping you on the back burner for now until i am serious about buying. I won't waste your time, Right now i am letting my investments grow, Ill be looking for a home near kitchener in a smaller town to be honest.

      Nothing. I don’t like those properties. They were popular during Covid. Very slow sales right now. I would never touch a resort type property.
