Badddddd fuckn asss… so much money into these machines i was thinkin about getn the micro korg.
i like to use the FL Chorus set at polychorus to give it just a bit of backup sounding vox. the chains i use are pretty similar to yours. the Butch Vig Plugin looks pretty cool.
ill have to give a polychorus a try. and yes, the butch vig plugin has a lot of built in functions. its definitely a workhorse for my productions. worth checking out.
Can you do some Ebm tutorials please that will be great if you can that will be cool
I second this

Is a dynamic microphone preamp really useful to you? I'm thinking of getting this but not sure I need it
It is useful if you use a dynamic microphone to record like i do or if your interface doesnt come with one already built in.
Is FL studio a easier DAW for darkwave? I was thinking if using Ableton live or does it matter what DAW you use ?
I hear good things about Abelton. Ive only used it very little and saw no point in dropping FL Studio for it. Im die hard FL Studio user. Its just whatever works for you i supposed. Fl studio is a lot more user friendly i think, compared to other DAWs
just curious. why do a post bus why not just put it all on the vocals first
theres a million an one ways to record. this is just my way of doing it, because it allows me to retain a unaffected "clean" recording for future use or remixing. doing a post buss also allows me to get a better vu reading and how all the fx are truly affecting volume levels. hope that helps
