ROUND 2: PEOPLE IN RANKED MATCHES ARE RELENTLESS | Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
In ROUND 2 of ranked matches on Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, I went in with Kid Goku and Broly for the first match, but things got real when my opponent brought in a third character. To keep up, I added Chiaotzu to the lineup, sticking to my level 15 cap. I had to throw on some classic Bruce Falconer tracks in the background to hype myself up and get that nostalgic Dragon Ball vibe.

Jamming some heavy, industrial riffs on my Epiphone SG electric guitar, tuned to Dropped C, over a raw industrial drum beat. Using the MPC Live for beats, a Behringer 4-channel mixer, and running the guitar through a Zoom GTX1 with a grunge tone. Recorded right on the living room floor, keeping it gritty and real.

good video. usually after that, i mess with the tempo next, see what feel it gives the beats. If you right click on the instrument in the channel rack, look for "advanced fill" after setting up the patterns on each instrument. a "wheel" panel shows up that can shift them all together in cool ways...

Super! Stupid question: I'm not familiar with FL, but right at the beginning on your channel rack there is a "drum" channel and a "kick" Channel. What's the difference?
Is that just another kick layer? I notice you added another one later on.
@@garyvenuti4143 kick and other drum percussions are being bussed to a master drum channel so i can apply fx and eq to the drum track globally.

This rhythm sounds great!
I use the Akai Fire to create beats like this. Using a dedicated sequencer for the channel rack helps a shitload.
niiiiice. i have an apc40 but i think the fire might be better for FL Studio. I also have an MPC live which i plan in using for these types of productions in the near future.

The bass line sounds different when the kick is applied. The first two notes of every beat have disappeared. Are you side chaining the bass from the kick? If so how?
Yes, the bassline is being sidechain compressed. I dont remember exactly how i did it on this one. You have to use a compressor that has sidechain capabilities. I use fabfilters pro-c2. Sidechain the kick into the bass buss and within the compressor adjust the attack and release parameters to get the pumping effect
