I absolutely love your podcast Katy, there's always something to learn about someone from the past, but it's also about your story and your experiences which are very relatable. Remember it's always easier for people to criticise than to create. You just keep doing what you're doing.
I totally agree that we see ourselves so many times that we probably have a distorted view of how we look. I would LOOOVE if there was some invention that showed us how other people see us
Thriftbooks is the best!!! I much prefer the feeling of reading a used and broken in book. Also, there's something romantic and mysterious about the book itself having had a whole life before it came to me.
I just wanted to say that I LOVE the way your podcast has adapted into small history lessons or general lessons in the second half. I always leave feeling like I learned something!! I especially love the podcasts about powerful women in history, would love to hear some BIPOC women stories as well. Keep up the hard work, it’s definitely showing 💗💗
Loving these vids so so much and the podcast to ! 🤍 something I noticed was awhile back you talk about how you’re working on confidence and how you catch yourself saying things like “... if that makes sense” out of worry that you don’t sound smart and on the most recent podcast you mentioned to the editor “please make me sound smart” GIRL ! no need to make you “sound” smart YOU ARE SMART!! 🧡 Don’t doubt your self 🌻
omg perfect timing i'm starting a podcast AND looking for my next book to read LOL this was made for me 🤍 also just want to say how amazing you're doing during vlogmas i feel like you are really grounded and in a calming comforted space at home. it's so refreshing i'm so glad you're doing well!
I love your podcast and content, and have for years now. It feels like I'm sitting down with my friend since 7th grade! Don't listen to the cruel comments of people who are jealous of you
I completely agree with you, I think your mic has really nice warm tones (at least when compared to others). And looks like I have a new book to add to my to read list.
Your explanation was spot on so just so you know, those harsh sounds are called "plosives." I studied media in school and just wanted to spread the knowledge 😅🤗
the foam thing on the top is indeed a pop filter! it basically filters out the air that is made from harsh syllables such as the p and b sounds :) also proximity does have an effect not only on that but the tone of your voice can sound different when its closer (picks up more of the low end of your voice) as opposed to far away! just figured id throw in that fun bit of trivia in case you happen to see this😂 i love your videos and podcasts! 💙
I love your podcast! You have such a calming interesting voice for sure. And I feel like your podcast is very different than others❤️ definitely very inspiring😘
Cozy and lovely video 💕 did you ever hear about the illness lipedema? You might want to look into it based on your struggles throughout the years that you talked about! Anyway love your vlogmas!!!!

I know Queen Victoria is often accredited for the modern tradition of the white wedding dress, but long before that, I thought atleast..it was used in the roman empire and did indeed represent purity. I am not a history expert by any means, just my thoughts on it. From a christian perspective, I do believe white does have a correlation to purity, as does a white dress.
you shared "bitches who read" on your stories and it was the best recommendation! added so many books to my Kindle list yesterday and now you are also recommending books 😍 a dream for me, especially sitting at home right now and reading every day 🥰
@@HelloKatyxo omg didn’t think you’d reply!! 😭 ilysm! i’ve been following you since you first start your college days 🥺 you’ve grown into a mature role model for me and thank you for always doing your best...
1) I'll give "The Book of Moods" a try. I love mental-health related books. Let me recommend a book I've been reading to you! It's called "The Body Keeps the Score", and it's about the history of trauma and trauma management. Quite readable and I'm certain you'd find it meaningful. 2) Are you controlling or laissez-faire in your relationships? It's a truism that we men don't want to feel like we're being bossed around or 'mommed' by a woman. I wonder if women who overthink end up trying to micromanage others. 3) The skirt looks like a sarong, which is cool! 4) Your podcast has a whopping 4.8/5 score!!! That is so freaking good!!!

You should try Red Jacket Orchards apple juice! It’s soo good, a local business in the Finger Lakes in NY, and has no added sugars!

I just started reading Brag Better: Master the Art of Fearless Self-Promotion by Meredith Fineman. I heard about it from Lauren Elizabeth's podcast!
