The no annual fee Hilton Honors card would be the way to go for someone who doesn’t already have any Hilton cards. Just in case Amex decides to add family language to the Hilton cards.
Pay Yourself Back can make the Aeroplan card an attractive alternative to the Sapphire Preferred.

On the United Travel Bank topic, if one were to hypothetically put $50 from the Aspire (same question on the Platinum which has a comparable credit) into the United Travel Bank to trigger the credit, could the $50 be built up with regular periodic deposits or do the deposits (that trigger the credit) in the United Travel Bank expire after a certain period of time, hypothetically speaking of course.😂 I heard that the deposits from the IHG card into the United Travel Bank expire after a period of time but not 100% certain of this as I have never held any of these cards.
I think it’s all the same. They will expire at some point. But you can use the Travel Bank for a LOT of things…hopefully that helps
@@MattClausen thanks, I live near CLT and American runs 90%+ of the flights so even using United sporadically would be a challenge. Just curious, if the travel bank was 1-2 years that could work, if that lasts for 6mo, that would be a challenge, just not sure if there any data points on this.
@@ryanccc777 from Nerd Wallet: “Does United TravelBank expire? Yes. Purchased funds are valid for five years from the date the funds are deposited into your TravelBank account.” So, plenty of time.

Hilton with their second wave of offers already? Their first ones expired like April something. Hyatt is sleeping on offering good SUBs.
We can only hope that a higher end Hyatt card fixes things.
Would be nice if Chase improved their avios cards. Or at least make subs great. I see they “elevated” their subs but still weak. 😕
They had some with elevated Gas/Grocery/something for a very limited time. But those cards could use a tweaking for sure.
@@MattClausen bruh. They don’t even have business versions of these cards. I’d take that because personal versions aren’t keepers. However, can get sub every 24mos.
Prob start to churn them after my roadmap is complete early-mid 2025.

They are strong enough cards but the SUB is always best
