    Many people are simply incapable of appreciating science or the aim of perfection. Of course there is no true perpetual motion machineries, but there is "highly efficient" machine that conserve so many of it motion energy that it is almost perpetually moving. It is the effort on aiming on that perfection as always admirable.

  • @charleshill506

    The weights are free to swing and so the center of gravity of each will fall directly below the pin. So in the end the wheel will be in balance and not move.

  • @NathanCoppedgeVideos

    My best initial modification for this wheel with periodic toggling weights is to use a sideways lever in place of one of each of the pairs of dangling weights. This way at least you could apply pressure from outside to the lever and perhaps create imbalance. Maybe having sliding weights like beads on the levers that are tethered outside to one side of the device would work. I believe this normally wouldn't work due to the need to pull past the midpoint of the wheel, but perhaps someone could modify my variation on the design.
    A possibly important modification is to use heavy tethered rope as a way of pulling the weighted beads. A further modification is using a weight attached to the rope mostly near the tethered point outside the wheel, which may cause the uppermost bead on the levers on the wheel to move outwards, with little effect on any of the other beads (although there would be one rope for each bead. The beads might be designed to slide towards the tethers in every other position.

      This and all other ideas for a perpetual motion machine will not work due to physics. The weights shift the center of mass of the system downward. In actuality the wheel will just bob back and forward a little before it loses to friction. Its not possible to make a true perpetual motion machine. There is a hidden motor in the machine, there always is.

  • @skipgeel

    You illustrate what the inventor had in mind when they conceived the device, not something which actually works. Unfortunately, some people seem to think it actually works, because they attempt to build them. Your wheel turns as fast as you spin it.

    VEPROJECT1 I love your work.. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, I really appreciate and respect all your efforts... Here is my two cents, from a 63 yrs old... Perpetual Motion is totally real, I have NO DOUBT!!! but since we born, we trained the most intelligent mind to really believed in those OLD Rules of Thermodynamics and all that BS that keep the Status Quo... which really blocked the human desire to discover new venues, new routes, new approaches... to never engage in new ways, not possible in past years but maybe possible at this time... Just because our society doesn't fully attacked the development of perpetual motion machinery, it doesn't mean that Perpetual Motion is not possible. Ask yourself... Why all the sharp minds keep trying??? If you think because they are stupid, then look yourself in the mirror... Perpetual Motion will be accomplished when a collectively open minds group of people get together with the same goal in Mind. It's not going to be easy, but not impossible... Gravity is the key, and it will never stop working for us...

    • @Khrayfish
      @Khrayfish 3 года назад

      Of course, perpetual motion machinery is mathematically possible. A real perpetual motion machine would be a mechanism that simply conserves all energy put into the system. It would have to be 100% efficient at conserving energy, it would not produce any heat nor sound or any other form of energy.
      The fact is, even if it were possible, perpetual motion machinery is completely useless.
