I know this is random, but hear me out; After watching The Rise of Skywalker, I realized that this song reminds me a lot of Kylo Ren. I won’t spoil anything for those who’ve yet to see it, but when you do, listen to this song again and it’ll make you realize that this song reminds you of him. “Breath in, leave it all behind, I just wanna see the light” these lyrics remind me of how Kylo struggles to be with the Resistance, and you’ll see why when you watch the movie. Kylo Ren doesn’t want to be apart of the dark side, which is why he struggles to be bad. this song, to me, represents what he truly wants, to be apart of the light side, to be good. This is just me thinking out loud here but after watch TROS, this song brought a whole new meaning to it.
