I have the 'double tap' Rush MOAB 10 (18L). I wrapped the handle with about 10ft of paracord, and I have a hero clip, a hiking/cycling safety light, compact shopping bag, and sanitiser attached to the outside. I carry an inflatable pillow and cushion, and a sleeping bag liner, in case I'm stuck somewhere overnight. I have a great usb fan, cause I'm hyperthermic. Dude wipes, snacks, and heavy-duty zip ties cause you never know. My last EDC bag was around 10L , and I could just fit enough clothes for a long weekend, there wasn't enough space for one or two more things that I would've liked to bring.
Thanks for the video. I just bought the Moab10 in "double tap" and it may be the best bag I own. My new Tacoma doesn't have a wealth of storage spaces so I'm using this as an everyday bag to sling over the passenger seat. The design of the bag makes everything inside easily accessible from the driver's seat. Just unsling it from the passenger seat and take with me when I get out. Great bag. Great ideas for the loadout. Thanks again.
Surprised not to see any snacks or a bottle of water, but think the light weight is one reason you can keep it with you. I'd add a little TP or wipes fro the weight and spaccce it'll use.
Tactical grey man xD Good video man. Like the way you talk and even for a non native speaker like me (German) it’s easy to follow you. Keep up the good work.
That plastic rain poncho makes you sweat something fierce. blah. I think cold wet conduction would get to you real quick. If it was me then I would at least get a frogg toggs as that is light weight too and looks to have the extra space. I would like Tarp to Cover, Cordage, Stakes? Cause rain will put out the fire that is needed for warmth. Maintaining core body temperature is #1 essential in my naive perspective. Thanks for sharing your light weight EDC pack planning option! Enjoyed!
Question...I I'm just really getting into edc with backpacks. I started because I'm a type 1 diabetic and it's an easy way to carry my diabetic kit. My question is is there a limit to where everyone carries their packs? I kinda feel strange carrying a backpack into the grocery store or a restaurant...
Hey man, very nice setup. I've just bought my MOAB10 and it's been a long while that i have been seeing others use it as a solid EDC option, and i decided to stand up for myself and make my own kit. Your video was the first one i saw to get started with a EDC kit, and i know the subjectiveness of each one kits as they are made purposefully for their situations and routines, but its always nice to see what one with experiences keeps with them on a daily basis. Now, some questions: How is the state of the bag to this day? Have you switched to another bag? Why? What have you recently added to your kit?
The bag held up just great but I have switched to a mil spec monkey Tactical tailor adapt pack because I wanted a traditional two strap backpack. Most of the stuff I keep with me is pretty much the same with lil tweaks here or there. I have updated edc vids that show everything if you wanna check those out! Thanks for watching!
Take a large truck kit then use a EDC as a las ditch kit. In most kit on youtube, People leaves out a lot of needs like hunting, traping, fishing. a good kit is going to be to heavy for most people. Keep a EDC handy if you got to leave everything behind.
nice bag and setup... what do you think about adding a plastic/steel water bottle if you're not going to use a water bladder? always good to have something to hydrate with. oh, and maybe gloves. that's all i could think of at the moment.
+The Jon Z Project I have a pair of mechanix in there that I forgot to show now that you mention it and I usually do have a steel bottle in there but I'm currently washing it. Good suggestions tho
nice set up man but bit of advice would be to use snap lights (cam lights) as for one you know there 100% waterproof and your guaranteed to have some sort of light source with out failure. and take advice from others commenting as its always helpful other than that good job.
Put some chemica freezer packs that get cold when crushed, and a sol emergency blanket for those cold days or emergency shelters. Also helps with medical.
Terribly Tactical yea ok. I've never seen or even heard about anyone needing it in an urban SITUATION. Maybe in some backwoods hunting accident. Fkn joke
lou skunt then don't wear one but corsage is always a good thing to have on you. I don't ever plan on using my gun to defend myself either but I have it with me everyday just in case.

I have the same moab 10 in storm grey, the color is so cool
Yea it blends in well in all environments imo
When you carry a full (service) size pistol in the bag how many mags are you packing for it? Thanks
Minimum of 3
MOAB 10 IS THE PERFECT TRAVEL BAG AND APOCALYPTIC BAG
Did you buy the bag from 5.11 or another site?,i ask cause i bought one recently and it did not come with that admin pouch
I bought it at a retailer
A fold up solar panel would go great with your kit.
replace reg. batt. with rechargeable ones.
Highly agreed
The best one for EDC is Solarpaper by Yolk: Superthin, small and powerful. Fits perfectly in a Maxpedition Beefy/Skinny.
You EDC a fold up solar panel? lmao okay

I carry mine most everywhere and have no issues

@@TerriblyTactical Sure! I will check it out later today. For how many years have you used the moab10?
@@savito_palmito at least 3 probably
also, id add a metal water bottle or cup for boiling water
greyman is an excellent concept.
Nice setup. Good kit.
Much appreciated!
@@TerriblyTactical you're welcome.

Love the patch! Very Sophisticated
correct me if im wrong, but i have that same flashlight and mine is 400 lumens
Nice setup. I have the Moab 10 too, setup for 24-48 hour bug out. Thanks for sharing. Great video and advice. Subbed.
Thanks and much appreciated!!!
The grey looks dope. I'm grabbing one of these for my next bag.
It really does though and yea awesome piece of gear definitely a solid choice!
That's a great first aid kit and company I added to mine also I have 3 there a great base to start from
Brendan Fazekas it really is a great place to start then add trauma gear
Nice video and thanks. Have you considered adding paracord?
+Todd Smith I have indeed and carry it daily not only on my wrist but in my edc pack as well
I’m thinking some TP needs to be added along with hand sanitizer.
Can someone help me where to find this microfiber keychain ?
Amazon probably
I'm glad to see young guys getting into the edc life! It beats dope smoking wannabes who can't keep track of their Id's let alone an entire bag!!!

Terribly Tactical cool so looks like you're all ready for your first day of school 🤣🤣🤣
The Jon Z Project lol
How many liters is this backpack?
I forget honestly but 5.11 should have all the specs listed on their website! Thanks for watching!
@@TerriblyTactical alright cool ill check it out and no problem
18 liters

so what bag is it?
Mil spec monkey tactical tailor collaboration
Have you ever considered stuffing a glaringly not grayman bag in a Jan Sport book bag from any given non tactical store?
No... they'd def expect that lol
have you thought about adding a 4 way utility key?
+BalancedMind I have not because that's more of a bug out bag thing where this is my edc bag...two separate things
Put some chemica freezer packs that get cold when crushed, and a sol emergency blanket for those cold days or emergency shelters. Also helps with medical.
I do keep a space blanket with me in all my bags
This is 511 rush 12 yet ?
Thanks for this.
You're welcome for it!
Do you carry your bag in store and restaurant
+Charles Casey everywhere for the most part
Terribly Tactical thanks
I'm a kidney transplant patient and I have to carry a lot of stuff
Looks like you might have carried it twice everything including the bag looks brand-new
You're sadly mistaken. I take care of my gear so it lasts longer. There is no reason to abuse things for no reason.
Dont let the newness look fool you, those 511 bags are built like tanks and hold up for years, Quality doesnt cost, it pays.
Have a fold up wagon to carry your kit so your back will not be in pain.
If you use the bag as you say, every time you pull that pencil out the point is broken
I do use the bag as I say and I've had no issues
You still carrying this bag
Nice vid
Thanks!
DEFINITELY have to stay on Gun laws in Illinois. #HomeSt
Yeah and the massive infringement is garbage.
Thanks for watching
Well said my 2a bruthA. Train hard & be safe
Barking
Roof roof
try getting some medical glue
Watch out, we gotta badass over here. :/
Indubitably
Those paracord bracelets were just a fad, does anybody wear um anymore except you? On your person??
