Its a good headset but its designed as a bluetooth headset first. With Cinema ear off I actually prefer this over the sennhiser 4.50btnc. Wired mode is a different story, the matrix cinema is tuned to some bass boost mode while wired and as you said there is no way to change the setting.
ANC wise I would say its very good for its price range. I could ride the bus and subway(MRT) and cancel out the sound nicely. Lets be real here even the sony cannot cancel high frequency and sharp erratic sounds. For those the passive noise isolation that the earcups give is really good.
Btw, is mee audio a big thing in easten europe?

Is the Active Noise Canceling good? Maybe do a video testing the ANC?
I'd say ANC here is on medium (or rather mediocre) settings, however does its job.
Sony WH-1000XM3 is still the best in terms of ANC... although the price 😅
