    Hi , I had the same experience in trying to put the bike on the center stand. I test drove one and it was a great bike , but just didn’t thrill. I think I like the new Aprilia 660 better. I always wanted an MV Agusta though. They may come out with new bikes this year though. Thanks for your review.

    I own a MV Turismo, most fit the lowering kit available from Lust Racing dropping the bike 35mm or 25mm, such a nimble and relaxing sport touring bike walks allover the Yamaha Tracer for comfort, style and finish in my opinion.

    • @InfusedBiker
      @InfusedBiker  4 года назад

      Oh yes I agree the sheer style, design, finish and the super cool single sided swingarm is just pure art! 👌 If I was a millionaire I would have bought one just to display in my living room.

      I'm not sure but i think it only gives you full power on the sport or your own custom setting.

    You keep comparing it to larger more powerful bikes? It's a sport touring 800. That's apples to oranges. Nice video, but it is very apparent you prefer sport bikes. Not everything is about power and going 200 MPH.

    Thanks for showing the pavement cam at the end (nice touch). You are the same height and inseam as me and it gave a really good insight into what it would look like if I was to sit on one. Although, I was a little worried of your cam getting nicked off the floor 😄
    I was in the market for one of these, but the seat height has just put me off.
    Beautiful bike though.

    • @InfusedBiker
      @InfusedBiker  4 года назад +2

      I am glad you found it useful. The seat height and top heavy weight did scare me a bit for sure. I think Lust Racing do a lowering kit of 30mm but you then have to lower the front forks too and modify the centre stand and side stand. It's a bit too much hassle - not worth it in my opinion.

    • @catherinelee9669
      @catherinelee9669 4 года назад +2

      Lowering kit is available from lust racing dropping the bike 35mm or 25mm.

    • @InfusedBiker
      @InfusedBiker  4 года назад

      @@catherinelee9669 Thanks for sharing the info. I think once lowered it will feel less top heavy and more manageable. However the side stand would have to be shortened and I have a feeling it will become even harder to put it on it's centre stand unless that is also shortened.

    • @catherinelee9669
      @catherinelee9669 4 года назад +1

      @@InfusedBiker I find the stand is ok not being shortened as long as your not silly when parking the bike, center stand is a bit harder but i am 60 years old and find it ok.

    I m 5'4" with barely 29" inseam & I have no issues riding it, reaching for the ground & putting it on the centre stand was easy.
    Had it for 2 days from the local agent & I absolutely love it, the power delivery, agility & comfort was great.
    What turn me off was the clumsy low speed turns & high price.

    • @InfusedBiker
      @InfusedBiker  4 года назад +2

      Maybe the reason I struggled so much is probably because I need to build some muscles 💪 😅. I only weigh 63 kg and you need to put some weight on the centre stand to make it smooth. I had no such issues with the Tiger 900 or the F900XR. Yes the price is exhortationnate 🙄

    Another great review of a stunning looking bike its a shame its not ideal for shorter riders its main contender might be the 900 tracer gt which is around the same dimensions but a whole lot cheaper.What are your thoughts on the bmw 1250 rs ? I know you tried one out a while ago.

    • @InfusedBiker
      @InfusedBiker  4 года назад +1

      Yes I agree it's a gorgeous looking bike but such a shame my little legs don't reach the ground on it😄😃. I might have to book a test ride on the Tracer 900 and do a comparison while my memory is fresh. I found the R1250RS a bit too awkward and heavy at creepy speeds and filtering and the reason is most probably because of it`s hunched down sports handlebars I think. Where as I found the R1250GS a lot easier and I think it was due to the higher handlebars and most importantly the front telelever suspension making creepy manoeuvres a doddle! I will also be test riding the BMW F900XR soon😁
