15 Crit refill is a lot better than given credit for, With critical savvy max rank and a minimum of 22 luck you crit every second shot on full health characters!
AGREE! My favorite roll is QE15 I have almost every ballistic weapon in the game with that roll and it makes any weapon 4x more fun to use. Although for a newish player I wouldn't recommend as it gets expensive with ammo cost and also using damage boosters such as mags and bobbleheads.
I consider it a complete waste because you're going to use concentrated fire and gain more ammo than you use. On the rare case that you actually have an enemy at long range you can just burn some rounds with concentrated fire which increases hit chance with each consecutive shot in vats. Almost always handles things if not reload again. The bonus here is that the other 99% of the time you don't have a useless star. If its a enemy that doesn't die easily I'd just switch to a railway rifle anyway.
Quad FFR Cryolator is better than 2-shot for using against the scb. For the Alien Blaster I like the AA , 50 crit, 15 crit fills faster with cryo mag. Alien Blaster is excellent in VATS. Also you can fire as fast as you can. It is a really fun weapon.
@@BxBxProductions lowers vats cost, let you land more hits in vats, let you jump from enemy to enemy without stoping to regen ap so often, which is very usfull in expeditions, dailyops and pve. Its just a very nice quality of life, and imo its better then the almost unnoticeable dmg buff from 1s.

why in vats weapon you don't consider 15% crt refill as a good perk in the 3 star, for me is even better with bloody weapon so i can reduce crit expert to 2 star and save a perk, and in my full life commando build with 34 luck it will help a lot to crit once very 2 shot.
Nice build but considering crit bar can be filled easily and Psychopath perk is a thing 3rd perk for me it would be better for dps the VATS 25% less AP. Tho in second for me would be crit like you mention

So if I have a Handmade rifle with Quad, +50% VATS hit chance, and -25% AP Cost, it would be a god roll? Because that's my daily driver on one character as it is.
@@Genjustice92 good point! maybe having both antiarmor and incisor make reach the maximum of 90% in case of doubt. It's all about how the formula behind antiarmor and incisor work together and how they combine with each other. The formula must be a bit more complex but incisor with AA might be good travel companions after all.
I still ask myself, what is better for maximum damage (as much damage brings one faster out of trouble) - bloodied, two shot or anti-armor? It would be great if you would make a comparison video with 3 of one same gun, each with one of these legendary effects and no additional perk cards.
honestly Commando Instigating is really strong if you get 25 Weapon Speed, since the servers are prone to lag it allows it you prock more than once being enough to one cycle deathclaws with vats crits. Highly recommend if your a full health build that is normally doing mob fighting by yourself it pretty much is the full health bloodied. also of note if you don't get 25% AP Cost its best to run Automatic Barrel, Allinghed barrel, quick mag, forceful stock, reflex site on your weapons for AP economy you can get a Handmade down to 9 AP cost just by doing so.
I actually prefer +25% damage while aiming because I am always aiming when fighting. It just seems like second nature to me across all my ranged weapons and I don't use VATS. It just isn't my preferred play style. My main weapon right now is a prime gatling plasma AA/+25 damage while aiming / with a throw away +1 agi on the third.
I feel like people underestimate the VATS hit chance second star legendary. It makes shotguns and plasma casters SO nice to shoot with! I'd even take it on launchers when I do VATS with them if one rolls with it.
The thing I've always wondered about 2 shot on launchers, i know they get +100% damage from 2 shot, but do they also get the bonus 25% overall damage that ballistic and energy weapons get?
I have an autoaxe with vampire/40%power attack/40%less damage, and I love it. Super powerful, and when you're attackong it helps you survive boss attacks
You mentioned an Anti-Armor cap of 90%. If you have the Fixer you mentioned, with Anti-Armor and Armor Piercing Magazine, will Tank Killer have no effect? Also, I am really surprised you didn't mention Lucky as a good mod for Ranged VATS 3rd star. Lucky allows non-bloodied builds to crit on every other shot, which is great for maximizing damage imho.

Even tho i love it and i do say it's the best effect i have a vampire ap refill one it's a great sideweapon for events like a colossal problem , i use the railway rifle and when i rin out of ap or low on health i just switch to the vamp launcher and heal back quickly. I mostly use the ts but if you get something like vamp ap refil and 90% reduced weight don't sleep on it , i'd say vamp if you use it as a side weapon and dont care that much about tagging everything or ts if you use mainly it ( i still pair it with a good weapon for bosses tho ts launchers are great at everything but killing bosses fast )
I already know this is a dumb idea, but if you HAD to take a revolver what would be the ideal roll if you use VATS? I've been playing around with Fact Finder and while I do okay, I know there are un-starred weapons that outperform it.
For the ranged weapons, heavy weapons specifically, is two shot/explosive not a good role for a weapon? Did it get nerfed within the last sum of patches, because years ago that was considered a really good role, if not the god role for LMG's, Gatling guns, and all of the sorts. Another amazing video! Thank you! With the introduction of the Company Tea Machine and Birthday Cake, would love to see a breakdown video of what’s best between those, the coffee, and possibly other AP boosting items I’m not thinking of at the moment, I’m a bloody vampire chainsaw primarily.
I've wanted to focus on handmade rifle since the beginning and actually managed to roll an Anti armor explosive fast reload handmade. Doubt i'll ever find a better gun.
I have a b2525 fixer and handmade it’s definitely not ideal. for bosses id rather have quad in the first star or +50% crit in the second star. I do really like the -25% ap cost I never run out and I can be in vats constantly.
I honestly don’t understand why the fixer or handmade are put on the pedistool that they are. They get outperformed by others guns in boss fights by a long shot.
Why AA wasn't in the list for Auto Melee weapons? Considering Auto Melee shines in Boss Battles, AA should be more impactful, right? Why Executioner is not better than Instigating? Afaik it's multiplicative.
Got AA explosive 50 cal, man this is good) also have 2 shot explosive 50 cal but AA hits harder, can't play without accuracy and i also use 25% dmg buff from chems, found 300 Psychobuffs at player's vendor for 7 caps each, worth every cap. I used to play with 50cal at the beggining of FO76, ammo was an issue for me, now i started with 3k and got 20k, mostly just because AA explosive + chems make you use way less ammo than with 2 shot expl + i started to farm ammo from Angry turtle's route, easy 800-1100 ammo from 1 run and drops from enemies helps too. I wish Bethesda make a button to just get all ammo only from the enemies, not just get all stuff. Heavy build is fun for some time, but commando is amazing in every day use
It's funny seeing so many videos or lists that don't have junkies in it. Might just be people not wanting to deal with losing out on special. I'm typically a melee junkies build and have my chems set up to the point that the only thing not being affected is my strength. Back when Bloodied was the huge meta to go with and it in some way, still is, I went with junkies. I could care less about having almost near death health just to have 95% damage. What people don't understand is there really ain't anything hard to kill with any weapon prefix you get, so anything is viable. Just don't see the dislike for junkies all of a sudden lol.

No Exe?? I have an AA2590 Holy Fire and an Exe2515r and the Exe possibly out performs on trash mobs and the AA is better for SBQ.
Also have an Exe50c25 Fixer Nd thats a beast too. Surprised its not come up on your list
So, my Vampiric, Weapon Speed, 50% slower breaking, Explosive Gauss Minigun is a god roll? Nice.
Always worked great for my tank build!
I use 2 shot for launchers and AA for all other of my heavy weapons. I don't use bloodied crap because Only the WEAK Sneak
I have an AA/AP recharge with kill/breaks slower chainsaw, it’s an absolute god roll.
Thanks for posting this before I double scrip everything this weekend! 😀
Great video turtle! Question… why is anti armor not as good on melee weapons?
If I had to guess, Incisor. It lets you bypass 75% armor. The mathematical effect of AA on top of that is significantly reduced.
Why AA wasn't in the list for Auto Melee weapons? Considering Auto Melee shines in Boss Battles, AA should be more impactful, right?
Why Executioner is not better than Instigating? Afaik it's multiplicative.
Incisor rank 3 gives 75%, the cap is 90% so AA doesn't give much benefit
So, cryo Alien Blaster basically just falls under the launcher category...?
I have a 2-shot/ 25% weapon speed Gauss minigun that eats bosses way faster then my anti armor or bloodied ones..
I have the quad railway with 50 crit damage and 15 reload, its amazing, wish I had a paint for it though :'(
does attack speed still not work on auto melee weapons?
yep
Vap Grenade launcher is way OP. heals instantly when needed. i take this over TS anyday
Hey Turtle, which is better with anti armour vs junkies in terms of damage? Thanks Turtle
overall similar
@@AngryTurtle thanks turtle!
Got a bloodied enclave pistol yesterday..now I need to hunt another flamer for it. Ugh...
what about a flamer w/furious and increase fire rate?
2 shot wasnt on the bottom of 1 star ranged is it beacuse its not worth at all?
I found a 1 star Fat man which was 2 shot
I gave it away for 300 caps to a lvl 50 player
Not sure if I could have charged him more
I'm surprised it sold. Instigating is king IMHO with fat man.
ranged without VATS MAYBE 25% WHILE AIMING?
first legendary i got was a vampire shotgun. i gave to a freind who died later on
I got a two shot explosive mg42 from Atlantic city it melts everything. Grenadier all heavy gunner cards. And demo expert truly a destroyer
As a new-ish player, thanks for the info!
Also weaponsmith is a wasted roll on ranged . Have a different weapon to swap to and grab a useful third star
The only combo I disagree with is the two shot with vats. Unless its been fixed, that combo does not seem to work well.
Nice video, wish that Junkie effect (and others) were as good as the one you said in your video
Just don't see the dislike for junkies all of a sudden lol.
why is anti- armour auto melee not on the list? Is it no good?
incisor is enough
Ok im a really adhd so cam someone tell me other than vampire what 123 stars effects are best for commando vats and mo vats im sorry for the bother i just camt under simple shit sometimes
quad + crit damage + less ap
Thx bro ur a life saver
