LOL, that only works when 1) The car isn't abandoned after being darted. 2) The car belongs to the suspect (wanted for other crimes) and they can go to his or her home. 3) The perps aren't smart enough to remove the dart and discard it or place it on another moving target. 4) The unit doesn't fail in the field.
Without something called a court order, or warrant, tracking of a vehicle is a violation of the 4th amendment, and unconstitutional. This has already been adjudicated as such in the 3rd circuit.
The question is why doesn't every car have GPS already built into it? That's what I want to know. Auto theft should have been a thing of the past many years ago when GPS technology came out.
Probably because people didn't know about your high level of demands on everybody for everything, and didn't know you were going to get uppity about it on social media while being unemployed from McDonalds.
@@gs1100ed I'm not talking about the gov't. I'm talking about auto manufacturers putting in gps so that a car owner can track the car if stolen. What the hell are you even talking about?
Do you wax your car like they do in all urban areas? Put the wax on and then drive around for hours to show it off and let dry? It's called a San Juan Wax.
That's actually pretty cool of the cops too bad it wasn't nationwide so they can get people that run away from so they don't have to chase them!!

My town cops have those. Already reported someone took it off out of sight and put it on another car. Cops were pissed.
Lies.

@@joeldriver-sp2rg sure! Trust the government! They always take good care of the people. They would never do anything sinister.
