So cool to see this so recent. Years ago when I first got into bully, I developed a huge conspiracy theory about something dark going on in the town, and a lot of it centered around Happy Volts. Some of the in-game rumors by NPCs also provide interesting insight as to what people think is going on there. I know Melvin, for example, believes they performed “illegal experiments” on kids who got expelled, which would line up with several of the Townies/Dropouts being patients at the asylum.
Actually the inmates were supposed to be physically present during free roam, but that was removed since it will attract a lot of controversy.

Nice video, I have a feeling they made it creepy and with all those noise as a way to show how brutally inhumane Asylums treated their patiences, even the name goes with what 20th century Asylums used to "cure" patience, the infamous electric shocks therapy where they would electrocute the head which would destroy the brain, some got some to severe brain damage and the lucky* ones died from the "therapy".
I have to say Rockstars really captured the awful and creepy ambience on those Asylums, hopefully this won't be a story that will repeat again somewhere in he future.
*I say the ones that die were the "lucky ones" because their pain and suffering would end unlike the brain damage ones where they would receive more "therapy" or live the rest of their life as a vegetable or in a almost vegetarian state without been able to think clearly or any at all because of the brain damage caused by the shocks.
Yeah people these days have no clue how the 70s ~ 90s were the black era for anyone Schizophrenia and other psychotic conditions(Bipolar, Autism, etc). What worse for folk who managed to survive and leave claimed many would scream because these buildings would be severely haunted, Like seeing beings just showing up with no history claiming to be staff.

I still view people with what was called Classic Autism(ASD-2 & ASD-3 these days) lied about not having psychosis because this what they be sent to if they acted out. The removal of Autism as psychosis was around this time where such Asylum's were still active like 70s ~ 80s.

everybody in bullworth is literally rude or insane when you think about it...i'd like to think that most of the inmates in the asylum have gone insane due to the torturous therapy they had to go through

inmates were supposed to spawn in freeroam but they only spawn during missions the screams are also just audio clips no one is there
They were removed because being able to hit mentally ill people in a video wouldn't look good

I've been watching your content when I was half my age. My brother and I were excited to watch your ghost hunting videos. Gives us the spooks and shivers. Amazing videos. But after all these year and hundreds of hours of walking around and finding pretty much nothing, have you ever thought of going through the game files? People find weird stuff in game files that you can't find anywhere in the game. It will ruin the immersion because if there's nothing in the files that can be used as evidence to support a myth, it's pretty much debunked. But it also could save your time, by a lot. Oh and also bankrupt your channel. Toodeloo
