Good video. Slight correction: if your ball on the putting green moves by natural forces, you must have both marked and lifted the ball in order to be able to replace it. If you have not yet marked and lifted the ball and it is moved by natural forces, you must play it as it lies. Essentially once you mark and lift the ball, you "own" that spot.
I said Mark it and then replace it. How can I replace it if I haven't lifted it?

Nicely done. However, I'd like to see you explain penalty strokes in these situations. That's where I always get hung up.

Thanks MSH! I wasn’t aware of the change regarding the grounding of a club in a hazard! I’m sure that you are aware that a “club length” for relief purposes is the longest club in your bag, not counting a putter (you may have cheated yourself by using an iron)…Cheers!
The longest club in your bag (not counting putter) determines the relief area. You do not have to use it for measuring. If I use a 9 iron and drop it is going to be well inside the outer edges of the relief area.
@@mistahshorthitter True… I’m saying that you possibly could have gotten “more” relief by measuring with the driver and playing whatever suitable club from the “edge”…

Is there a stroke penalty for using a provisional ball?
The provisional is in case you can not find your original. There is no penalty unless your original is not found.

I also am looking to upgrade my simulator. I have the garmin r10. I’m trying to keep cost down. Is the skytrack worth it? Used a good option? What other costs r there other than the initial cost??
There is an annual cost if you want the game improvement package of around $100 I think. I'll see if I can put a quick video together on it for you.

Thanks for the refresher on the rules. I did not now that the ball hit then bouncing back and hitting you is no longer a penalty. That has happened to me numerous times taking a penalty, now it isn’t. Thanks…..🏌️♂️⛳️

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why people do this awkward squat to drop the ball from knee height. You can drop the ball from knee height by simply bending at the waist with your arm extended downward. You don't have to go into a plié. MSH didnt do it but youll see people doing it as they explain the new drop rule
Also, one item that was overlooked about the penalty area is you can play it as it lies as long as that stake is not white. If the creek is dry that day, you can go for it with no penalty.
I didn't overlook it. I actually hit a shot out of it in the beginning of the video.
