First time hearing this song tonight on yacht rock radio. Going to be a staple in my playlist. It’s beautiful. Parts of it remind me of Sleepwalk by Larry Carlton which is a favorite too.
I saw him perform with David Benoit circa 1987 in San Diego - I was so impressed with his performance that I went out an bought this album - seems like a lifetime ago but this song was tremendous back in the day. Thanks for posting!

The memories of that time came rushing back thick and fast and so winded me that I had to sit down and even shed some tears. This song is amazing. It's beautiful, timeless, catchy, unforgettable, romantic, nostalgic etc. It always stayed with me since I first heard it in the Roxanne movie. I love playing it on saxophone, but I wish I had a backing track for it. You did a brilliant job writing this👍👍👍
