Now abideth faith, hope, love, charity: these three.
But the greatest of these is charity.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind and envieth not.
Charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own.
Is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil,
but rejoiceth in the truth.
Charity beareth all things, charity believeth all things,
hopeth all things, rejoiceth in the truth, endureth all things.
Beloved let us love one another for love is of God,
and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God,
for God is love.
Now abideth faith, hope, charity: these three.
But the greatest of these is charity.
