Madureira Shopping - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 【 4K UHD 】

Madureira Shopping is located in the Madureira neighborhood, in the northern part of Rio de Janeiro.
Madureira is known for its samba and charme dance schools, and Madureira Park, of course, for its bustling commerce.
To meet the needs of the neighborhood and its residents, Madureira Shopping, which opened in 1989, plays an important role in the lives of the 45,000 customers who pass through its corridors every day.
A little bit of Madureira's history:
In the early 19th century, Rio de Janeiro - recently elevated to the status of the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarve - was sparsely populated in its interior, the so-called "Rio de Janeiro hinterland". This region was made up of large rural properties.
One of these farms was Campinho, located in the parish of Irajá.
Captain Francisco Ignácio do Canto was the owner of the farm that was leased to the cowboy Lourenço Madureira.
With the death of Captain Francisco, a legal dispute began between Madureira and the owner's widow, Rosa Maria dos Santos, who lost.
Lourenço Madureira owned the property until his death on February 16, 1851.
After the cowboy's death, with the division of the farm into lots, the seed of what would become the Madureira neighborhood, which inherited the cowboy's surname, was planted.
In 1914, the first soccer club in the region was founded: Fidalgo Futebol Clube, which would later give rise to Madureira Esporte Clube.
