@@roamaniacs yes i have seen rest of them,i really enjoyed your garmore ,morray episode, Also you can visit babarakanda (highest waterfall) & lanka ella falls,.
Awsome as always .... stay safe both of you... i really hope that you both had a chance to visit hidden waterfalls in sri lanka.... there's a lot i should say... specially in laggala, knuckles mountain range and in sinharaja. You may also find some monks in those forests... but tbh you need a well practiced guide if you are going there... loads of love from 🇱🇰 ❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much! We will explore next winter when we come back for sure. We miss Sri Lanka so much already! Hoping to be able to do all the off the beaten path activities when we come back.
It seems the surrounding area of St. Claire has become quite dry which means fewer leach attacks. You guys walked there. Are there still leaches around St. Claire waterfalls?
No, we haven’t seen leaches. In fact, in 3 months in SL we only had one leach experience somewhere on a more remote road around Nalla Malay (Between Ella and Passara) There is very little flow to Saint Claire’s sadly now
@@roamaniacs Maybe due to the Upper Kothmale dam surrounding area has become dry and leaches have become extinct. Otherwise, you can't walk like that near the waterfall. The area was a paradise to leaches. I have been there 3 times where I couldn't get out of the van at the Devon falls observation deck due to leach attacks. 🙂
.A few words you need in Sri Lanka. * Say "Ayubowan" when you meet someone. (welcome) * Call someone your age "yaluwa" (friend). * oba kohomadha? (how are you? * newatha hamuwemu (see you again) * godak shuthi (thank you very much) * amma (mother) * thaththa (father) * malli (younger brother) * ayiya (elder brother) * nangi (younger sister) * akka. (elder sister)
Great watching your coverage of the waterfalls in Sri Lanka. Just wondering if you missed the hidden Mandaram Nuwara, Kolapathana, Elamulla and Kabaragala waterfalls around the picturesque Mandaram Nuwara (Misty City) itself at the northern foothills of the Pidurutalagala mountain range.
We did, it was raining for 4 days in a row, this day was the only sunny window we had while we stayed in Nuwara. The waterfalls we visited in the other 2 videos we visited while stayed in Hatton. But we plan to come back before the end of the year and discover more off the beaten path. Thanks so much for watching and for the suggestions 🙏
Change takes time and people have only started speaking up a couple of months ago. Can’t fix the silence and acceptance of all these years in a matter of months sadly. However, hopefully an influx of tourism will ease things even if only minimally. Thanks for watching!

Sri Lanka may be a waterfall paradise, but its a political and economic hell, now its only a matter of time before starvation starts.
