I'll try this method to revive my kitchen cabinet edge band with the original one falling off lol. let me know if that a good idea or should I get a different edge band.
Hi thanks for this video, what are best option kapag nagasgas yung laminate while applying adge banding?
I dont hv that yellow tool, can i just use sand paper instead?
I m making kitchen wardrobe, do I need to laminate after joint all frame ?
No, before. Only do visible sides
Sir which is better when it comes to quality? Buy a laminated marine board or I'll be the one to laminate the board?
I prefer using boards that are already laminated, since theyre factory-made with machines.
The problem in using acetone or kerosene for excess cement adhesive is that the liquid sometimes goes in the edge bond and eventaully loosen the bond of edging. Pero yung technic in sanding excess edges before trimming is good idea. Yun lang medyo bagay if manually trimmed.
I agree with you sir about the acetone or kerosene. That's why utmost care should be practiced along the edges to prevent acetone from reaching the bond of edging.
There are specific trimmers for the edge band. The process becomes much quicker, and you will get neat rounded edges.
Boss.
@@AnvinArganosa thank you po ulit.
Ang ginagawa ko, touch up ko ng paint marker of the same color as the hpl
Laminate scratches kaise mitaye ? Aapan tari kese , please guide
Hi! Please check my FB page. May ginawa po akong bill of materials ng bawat project. facebook.com/pinoywoodworker/photos/a.192085582228601/192694452167714/?type=3
what about 45 degrees?
The adhesive dries very fast, what do u do to keep the brush free from drying?
Hi Muhammad! That's also my problem when using brush in applying adhesive. That's why I now use scrap laminates when applying contact cement so that I can dispose it afterwards.
try to wrap it in a plastic bag, no air - no drying.
Thanks for the tutorial Sir, pwede po ba mag laminate isang side lang ng plywood?
Pwede naman po.
Ano po ba dapat mauna sir, pocket hole at hole for hinges or laminate po muna?
Anong klasing contact cement ginamit mo boss?
Pioneer ang brand po. All purpose contact cement.

pls indicate the contact cement or glue that is best for this
You can choose between Pioneer or Unica brand contact cement.
Good day sir. Anong router bit dapat gamitin pang trim ng mga excess laminate or edge banding?
Flush trim bit po.
Cement name?
Pioneer or Unica brand.
That is so not the way to do bruv. It will take forever to do that not to mention destroy the face finish with your knife and sand paper. That’s life wasting unnecessary graft.
This so IS the way to do it...bruv. How on earth can the sandpaper and knife destroy the face finish when neither tool even touches the faces? LMAO at your inane comment and your appalling English.
And it speaks volumes that you didn't offer YOUR method. ;-)
What a mess, why is there so much cement to remove with acetone if you were using a blade?
Its the glue. Excessive glue will splill out
Useless idea and wastage of time
