They’re all so pretty! I had my burgundy about six feet from floor to ceiling south facing windows, and it did nothing. A week ago I moved it to where it sits next to the window and now it’s giving me all new leaves! So you are definitely correct: lighting is key! 🌱

My rubber tree loves the sun here in hot Texas. I acclimated it SLOWLY to the sun, and now it is in direct sun for about 5 hrs daily. It loves the bright light. Years ago I killed one by by overwatering it. My rubber tree is beautiful and easy to care for. I can't wait to see how big it will get. You are right about getting the light right. I do let the soil dry completely b4 watering. I ALWAYS test the soil b4 watering. I recommend it as a good beginner plant. Thanks for your video.

Same here. I always test the soil as well. I would be mortified if I overwatered mine. I am glad your plants are loving it outside.

I bought a little 3 inch pot with 3 little plants in it during the pandemic. They've grown sooo much since then! I'm trying my hand at propagating right now. 🤞 I've got the burgundy ones. Oh! & I've just put 2 of them out on my porch for the summer. So far, so good!

Hi, i'm very curios as to how your rubber tree thrive outdoor? Aren't they supposed to be an indoor plants? I just bought my very first one today (Robusta) and i was told that it's an indoor plant and needs bright area but indirect sunlight. Also ive been searching all day on care tips for it and all mentioned indoor. Could you give me some tips on how to grow it outdoors please - what temperature and should i place it in a shaded area with no indirect sun?? I appreciate it alot. Your plants are gorgeous and i was amazed to hear that you put them outside 😊
