Pure tweeted about it. They have the male toggles ready. Barbie is just working on a body scaling feature and the male body happens to be the test dummy for this, which is exactly why the new sets don't have masculine toggles. The twinkified bodies are just a replacement for a little bit, but they are working on it. Don't worry guys!

The downfall for masc representation was there from day one. From the lack of faces/hairs that looked cheap compared to the feminine updates. To the sudden news that an entire body type will be removed for the most unnecessary reason and the future rework for all masc sets shifting into Twinkerbell.

My Honest opinion: It is giving Winter Gaurdian's mother from the 50s. On a serious note, I do feel for the men and trans men towards the new set. The masc version isn't all that great it still looks feminine in my eyes. which is disappointing. I do hope next year's set is an improvement in terms of masc representation. The feminine version is really cute from the icon, but in the game, it's alright. The feathers throw me off, but I'm sure it isn't all that bad in texture.

Honestly as a female player the male toggles work better for masc fems then actual men. Its quite sad how they changed the body type.

@@vintage_oddities Trans men are actual men. The comment did NOT differentiate them in any way shape or form. The comment was talking about how the set is entirely for women, and doesn't benefit ACTUAL men of any kind, only tomboys, therefore, masculine presenting women / androgynous women.
I'm neutral when it comes to dressing in real life, the masc looks quite feminine in my perspective. I'm a artist and I'm strictly picky with how I see fabrics, and tone with outfits, the feathers look very weird, but they look gorgeous in it's shop icon so it conflicting in good idea but execution isn't all that great. The overall I'll give 7/10 not the best, but it is in the decent area of good looks.
I love the additions of thinner legs or wider waists and lack of breasts as an option for feminine men or non binary players. But completely removing the masculine body just isn’t inclusive. What if we had all the same toggles but just fitted to the roblox boy model? That would add an additional body type for women who are bigger or taller. Idk just an idea

(6:00) I love love LOVE Peachy King's concept, I think if implemented; the inclusivity they want would be achieved, and would be compatible with many more things like the bugs they have with some accs like the enchanting heirloom sleeves, leg warmers
with those bugs, maybe they can also make a move thing to put it in place!
My main gripe with the new compatible bodices and shoes is that the “man” versions are just flat, which therefore implies that all girls _must_ be curvy to be considered feminine-I mean, this is the _masculine version,_ so girls can't be flat or wear less revealing clothes unless they want to be a guy. Either that, or we _have_ no truly masculine set pieces.
I'm trying to find a way to word my frustrations; there is nothing _wrong_ with enjoying the gender non-conformity that the new compatibility system created, but in the process I've lost the ability to cosplay as a butch character without _just looking like a guy._ And although I like dressing up as girl characters, I'm a guy who wants to represent myself with long hair _and still noticeably look masculine!_ The compatibility system is a great concept that was made with good intentions, but it feels like it made Gender Roles 2™ now that we cannot represent ourselves as _feminine guys_ or _masculine girls_ because we look the same.

Personally I think the set is very pretty! Though I do want to say a few things about it: 1) The masculine toggles look very feminine still. I personally don’t ever use masc toggles but I know this will be disappointing to the people who do. 2) I think the feathers look kinda off, they aren’t that bad but I think they could be a bit fluffier and filled in. 3) this isn’t a problem with the set but more a personal preference. I don’t really like how rh is shifting over to using the specific arms they give you for free for new sleeves. They look to short/small for bigger bodices such as the whimsy witch bodice. I feel like they can work for some sets but sometimes I want longer arms like the shadow empress sleeves or arms with a bit more structure like Mon Chéri.
Ok thanks for listening to my small rant but overall I really do like the set and think it’s very nice! I especially like the shoes! :)

Seeing as this is the post new body type update set, (besides ttyl), it really just proves my fears right about the direction of this new body type update. I am a cis female, but I can say for sure that the new male bodytype is just terrible. When I was first playing around with the new body, I didn't even realize that there were two separate models. Like especially the male arms, they are so similar to the female arms that it is nearly impossible to tell which is which.
I really do hope that we can still keep the og toggles for our items because I'm not sure how I feel about this new system.
I do like the new set, and the toggle system that comes with it. Although, the set is definantly not my kind of style, (I'm more into dressing up like a princess in royale high lol) I can see the nice vintage styles that people can create from this.
Edit: Seeing the concept art for the male body type makes me believe that PureSweetener originally wanted to make this set in that bodytype, but was told to model it based off of the new body because of the new system they are pushing out. So I don't blame PureSweetener for this.
I’ll be honest it’s a very beautiful set and it probably could be styled with female or non-binary components but considering like there is absolutely only a few masc players might feel comfortable with this, it’s disappointing-
Yeah the masculine version isn’t bad since it’s technically more masculine but everyone basically wants the devs to add the toggle for the old boy body scaling and have the items fitted accordingly. I enjoy the middle ground for afab enbies and girls but amab enbies and guys would definitely appreciate a taller and muscular build. I’m happy with most of the items but the feathers are overwhelming considering they’re the staple that gives this set it’s name but I know that you can toggle them off

Don’t hate on Puresweeterner’s feathers, he did awesome 😠. A few things on what I think about it. I don’t know why but I get stressed out with all the color slots, that being said it still has a lot of customization. The male toggles are terrible and no matter how I style it even with short hair it still looks like a Butch lesbian or Twink. If Royal high add a scaling system I don’t think the community would be so upset. But at the end of the day it is Barbie’s game and she decides what happens and we can’t do anything about it.
i understand and agree with ur take on the set. unlike for most people, the feathers aren't that big of a turn-off for me; infact, i think it adds a lil' something to the set. however, the hat being *just* a plethora of feathers doesn't.. look the best frankly speaking. i feel like had the hat been made to look like the outfits' examples own shown in the video, it'd look far better. but the smaller the hat looks, the less goofier it is. also your accent is rlly pretty! :)
I love it! The masc version is interesting....(for my style of masc fits) Love the toggles so cutesy! They rlly slayed with this one (ps there also a small problem w one of the flared pants toggles that theres a small spot behind them that shows a part of your legs)
the new “Masc” toggles and body type are just not for me. I don’t like them at all, I don’t want to be extremely skinny with a teeny waist. It just looks awful to me 💀
Now the heels are absolutely stunning!! I actually tried the "male" toggles on with the jacket from the past years advent calendar and it kinda works? Although u might need a belt to make it look less weird lol. Its sort of looks like Dcd heels

The new masc toggles I think are good for a neutral look, but not for full masculine.
The set is SO SO SO SO expensive, so I'm just gonna buy the heels. Honestly, I only like the heels, gloves and jewlery set. But i legit just want the heels for the bell bottoms toggle

Hi, wilby, I think the new fit gives Neville Longbottom Great Aunt vibes. it just needs a crow on top of the hat. is not that great for me, but I bought all the set and got 3 small items from the advent. the pants are my favorite and i figure you can take the feather off from the corset. it only chic and nice when using pastel colors. I was expecting a modern set. but it is very amazing the level of artistry the creator put into it.

theres actually a way to use the new heels with the male body first of all i recommend the flared toggle then after you put those on w/ the male body (its going to look weird untill u add the accs and skirts) use the oa bodice uh skirt toggle doesnt matter which one just 1 of those the oa skirt can be opptional it just looks more weird w/o it, then put on a skirt that kinda covers well mostly on the sides i guess idk 😢😢😭😭😭😭? ex: ww skirt, sp skirt, swan skirt, any long skirts that cover well and then just add sleeves and a bodice or whatever so if you want to use the new heels with the male body there you go!!!
Like: Sleeves, shoes, hat, earrings/necklace, gloves
Dislike: Bodice, skirt
It would be a 8/10, but the masc toggles were lacking, so I’d lower the score.
However, the toggles added a lot of variety. I like the new system where you can change the toggles yourself.
Overall, 6.5/10. Great toggles, good variety, not a lot of disliked items, but the masc toggles don’t look very masculine. Fix the masc toggles and I’d be a 8.5/10.
Fr and rh should add more masculine stuff. I would probably start dressing as a boy if rh did that

I really don't understand why we can't have body mod options like in misfits, but a bit more limited. Give us two bases, one feminine, one masculine. Let us resize those and bend to our preferences, ex : height, width.
There's really nothing extraordinary needed. Literally.
Let us adjust the placing of certain items on our avatar, or make the items actually compatible with the bodies properly. No clipping, no misplacement, like the leg warmers or gloves, sleeves etc
All we need is two adjustable original base models.

This is honestly really sad, i though Barbie finally lisened to the community and realised how masc players were getting left out. I was extremly excited for it until i saw the masc version. It's litteral COPY of the fem version only with less chest....this just shows me that the devs r getting lazy of doing male sets?????

you CAN use the heels on the og male body, you just have to put the cozy swear bottom on it (idk how to explain it but i wish i could send a pic)

if they want to commit they can just make three versions of the set a female version, and nonbinary/GN version, and a male version. These could be like on top of the toggles and just be a button. This is a fix but not an easy one because it’s more work for the devs. I think the best solution would be to just go back to how it was before, like the glitterfrost (and hopefully not the future) update(s) we’re/are ruined for all masc players an will make rh a less inclusive game.

My only problem with the set is the price of the heels and masc toggles its not bad but not giving masc and
the price many would consider it cheap but its still quite pricey especially for new players and players with no robux or time to play
As someone who like old money and elegant looking men this set really upsets me. The masculine toggles looks like the feminine version.
i thought the new set was great like december dream (masculine) it was still looks better then the new set (it was so pretty). I was so disappointed about this masculine sets, should be more little bigger. i love the new sets but the masculine toggles it so (1/10). 😔
They do have a male toggle. It looks like the male version is based of a Chinese traditional film, winter season due to its female features however this set if also based for the boys with fabulous taste or fashion sense (the royale high boys, trollers or gender fluids) which most people asked for, dont like, dont buy
If this is going to be the norm for masc versions of sets most masculine players arent gonna buy at all, the 'masc' version is nice fashion wise but its not masculine at all
The male toggle is literally being used by fem users for a flat chest. Thats not masc, thats just helping out the females have diversity and erasing the mascs
And even if this is Chinese traditional they don’t at all look this skinny and feminine still.
As a trans man i wish it had more masc toggles! i think the set is beautiful but for dysphoria reasons i love using the masc outfit toggles and this set just kinda disappointed.

i'm sorry but this set was 100% NOT worth waiting for and was not worth the hype, it sucks bc sweetener is very talented and it's very clearly shown in their other set they made aka swan's older & hotter sister, whimsy witch. i know that this set was very micromanaged making this set so i don't put much blame on her, i put it on barbie. especially for the masc toggles, knowing the fact that sweetener herself hates the fact that the masc toggles aren't very masc is very telling. you know it's an issue when the developer of the set has a problem with the body proportions & toggles
in my opinion , it’s so elegant and chic . i really like it , but i do think that all the feathers are a bit intense . the feathers look harsh / rough , and not really soft . i feel like this one of the main reasons why the set has been getting so much hate . overall , i think it’s really cute and i would definitely wear it , just with not so many feathers .
as for the masculine toggles , puresweetener ( the creator of the set ) said she / he didn’t really like it and that it would be fixed with the new system !! 🤍

Thank youuu, I agree to. The only thing I like are the (Non feather) bodice and shoes and a few toggles with the skirt, that looks like Opposite attract. Maybe the sleeves too but they are giving vintage dcd sleeves.

I got a question. the concept of what the set could of looked like. can we make it if we can can you tell me what the items for it are. and in my opinion. they could of just grabbed sp corset masc ver and went to the toggle that had no shirt and put the new set stuff on it easily than just Release it. but i still like it a bit i just want it more masc like at least the corset more masc.
As a transmasc Im really upset with the masc update. I crossdress so I do have options, but this really isn't what any of us asked for. Anyway great vid I love your voice!
