Jimmie Porter played baseball in the 1920s. In Carrollton, Tx he was the most loved person.

A good friend of mine (Dave Henderson) sent me the link to this, and I am grateful he did. We are the same age, and played in different states (TX, OH). Our influences were different, but powerful for teenagers growing up in the 70s.
