I was there,I had just graduated high school 3 months previous. I'm 73 now and remember it like yesterday. Not one fight or really anyproblem in 3 days with over 200,000 people at minimum! At least nothing I witnessed or was made aware of. Lewisville was a city of about 7,000 people or less at the time. I don't think it could ever happen again the way it did back then . There was electricity in the air and it was a time of great hope and perceived change to come. Peace!
