Hi Eshwar, definition wise they are all 3 different operations. But when in NetWorker used with Data Domain device there might are a few similarities on how it actually works, Cloning - In Networker is creating a copy of a saveset. When the source and destination are both Data Domain devices then we used a operations called Clone Controlled Replication(CCR) where a File replication is initiated between the 2 DD's in the back ground. On the NetWorker side its looks like a normal cloning process but is much faster than cloning data between 2 tapes or AFTD's. Replication - In NetWorker we do not have any replication operation of feature. This is more a storage related term which means again copying data from one source to one or many destinations. This is useful for high availability of data. Snapshot backups - This has nothing to do with Cloning and Replication as this is a subtype of backup where NetWorker used supported storage arrays on the back end to create snapshot of the selected mount-point then roll it over to the protection storage which can be a Tape or a DD/AFTD. You can however clone a snapshot backup or replicate a snapshot from one storage device to another. If you find these videos helpful dont forget to share it with the world :)

Hi @Amin! Index backups are bound to the Backup servers clientid. So you can just move it to another server unless the other server has the same hostname and fqdn as the original backup server.

You mean migrate a NetWorker server and move the license as well. You will need to reach out to support to get a new license file generated.

Is this for any tape that you use in this drive or are all tapes and all tape drives giving this issue.
