    Consider a boiler meant for floor heating a shop. We have a boiler in our shop that heats water that circulates in our shop. Could then install appropriate sized heat exchangers in each waterer. Could help you design this over the winter Dave. I am an engineering student/ beef rancher in Missouri.

      Great question! The stalls get cleaned out more than once per week.

    How wide and long is this confinement facility? It looks like a really nice design. How many head in the barn in this video?

    With today’s market and the cost of the facility I’m having trouble penciling out how cattle can pay for it I know over a long period of time it would but I can’t see how cattle can make the payment of the barn any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

      Hi again! We will never guarantee that you will make money in the cattle business. However, we do know that the data clearly shows raising cattle in one of our facilities is more efficient than raising cattle outdoors. If you would like to discuss your project further please give us a call at 800.213.0567.

    Can you please share the balance feed formula with percentage?

    • @SummitEPC
      @SummitEPC  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Waji! This specific producer wanted to keep the feed information private so we are unable to share that with you.

    • @SummitEPC
      @SummitEPC  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Brendan! The prices always fluctuate depending on the market. Here's a good article for you to reference on price per kilo: markets.businessinsider.com/commodities/live-cattle-price. Your answer will be towards the bottom.

    Got em packed a little tight

    • @SummitEPC
      @SummitEPC  5 лет назад

      Hi Gary! It may seem like they are tight but they do have plenty of room. We usually like to allow up to 45 square feet per cow in a bed pack barn and 24 square feet for a pit barn.
