!!!BEWARE!!! The Amos PEELERZ that made it to DT do NOT peel! They make a HUGE sticky mess. They have a more solid back and seem like you could peel them, but st must of went wrong in the kitchen, lol, bc this DT batch is not peelable.

Happy 4th! I hope not many items are going to be $1.50. I'm sure they know what to raise to 1.50 and what to keep at 1.25, lol. Since this $1.25 items are now more expensive than Walmart.
I saw those planners and calanders ona different channel for a 1.50 and knew right away that changes are coming which i have been telling everyone that they were and i was right

I always get the calendar that comes with a mini calendar. I love having a mini calendar! Mini calendars are great for rescheduling appointments while you're on the phone and for looking back and forth between months without scrolling.
Hey Marina. Remember when Dollar Tree increased their prices from a dollar to $1.25?? I was very angry I took this change personally because it affects everyone, Dollar Tree has really stepped up the game I now think it's worth it Dollar Tree is smart with their marketing plan they knew they were going to lose customers when they started selling things for a $1.25 I think they rolled the dice, and knew they were going to lose people but because they were so confident in the upgraded products the most powerful marketing tool is Word of Mouth. So not only did they lose customers, when the word got out, it brought additional customers and the ones that they lost. With all this sad I am going to choose to keep an open mind. Was anything else a dollar fifty Marina? If not I think more is to come and I'm excited about this❤
I appreciate your point of view, but I respectfully disagree. I never find any of the fun, brand name items and from comments on videos, neither do many others. So for me, paying an extra 25¢ for the same boring Dollar Tree products that are always carried, it is not worth it. I can go to Dollar General and buy the EXACT product for $1.00. My hypothesis for the recent closing of 30 of their stores nationwide is that those were stores that did not receive merchandise beyond the basic Greenbrier brand. I, personally, don’t think they are being strategically smart.

The excuse of raising the price on calendars because they have to get rid of so many is complete nonsense! They could avoid that scenario by ordering fewer and sending less to each store. The ignorance of Dollar Tree and their marketing & management team gives me hives 😖.
I just bought all my calenders for next year. It does not surprise me they went up.

Also, love the calendars the wall calendars. I don't have a book as a calendar I have my phone for that. However I like to have a physical calendar as I'm visual I would most likely add things to the calendar to Jazz them up up a bit. I'll buy a desk calendar from DT but that's the only one. I still get free calendars from our bank and they're nice and the perfect size. I'm so over price increases everywhere. I do still enjoy shopping at DT but don't buy unless it's super useful and cost effective.

I get my stuff from Temu and haven’t shopped dollar tree in almost a year and I still shop Walmart and anywhere else that doesn’t use the people that is being ripped off 😮
I price compare there too or find my wishlist items. Their hair clips are not as big or thick as DT though

Probably won't be purchasing the calendars any more. Instead, I'll use my phone and computer calendars. I used to buy the calendars for inspiration and craft projects but I guess that I'll save my money.

Hi Marina, I’ve been making lists of ALL the new items you’ve shown. I don’t know why we haven’t gotten anything new by us. It’s very disappointing. I was not impressed with the Amos mango candy. Don’t know what the hype is all about… they don’t even peel. Picked up the PICKLE ROULETTE and we played a family game where you had to eat one when you lost. It was fun! 😅

I picked mine up today … I don’t think you can get them anywhere else for even the $1.50. I have picked out two. Medium size and a small to go in my purse. I waiting on the one that I put each month on my refrigerator to be put out. I am using the same ole same ole… these styles are the ones that I have found after 23 years of employment suit my needs the best!!!

It's funny how everyone was sooo unhappy with the $1.25 increase including myself. But all Dollar Tree RUclipsrs Fell in line to "Only $1.25" it's only been 5 minutes & within this video SHE has already started making excuses for the price increase. There are very FEW ITEMS we buy in Dollar Tree that "The if you need it" comment applies to. If WE ARE HONEST We all got used to over buying because they were only $1.00 I can tell you 100% when they raised the price .25 I went from $60.00 -100+ week now they are lucky if I spend $15 maybe $20 every 2 weeks. We knew a lot of stuff wasn't even really worth $1.00 but we through it in because we were there & it saved a trip or a last minute buy. But honestly the stuff they are bringing in now is stuff they COULD have been selling for $1.00 before but they want such large returns on their stuff pay .15 sell $1.50 it's crazy. Well they lost me for all the extra. People dont have that extra to just throw away now that the $1.00 is now $5.00 for those 2 items or more. Nah.. same reason I stopped shopping at Family Dollar & Dollar General we are back to better prices at Walmart or Price Clubs.
To bad... I'll buy the markdowns just like closeouts on anything else twist & other high-priced stuff. But the everyday crap. Nah I'm OUT!

Last November or December (2023) they promised around 300 items returning to $1.00. What a crock! They sell the ramen noodles for $1.25 while my local ALDI sells the same brand for 88¢. That is a HUGE discrepancy in price. Same with canned goods. My local stores never receive any of these fabulous name brand products so for me, the $1.25-1.50 price points are extraordinarily high. I’m not paying $1.25 for an 8-count box of crayons or pack of filler paper that I can purchase at Staples, Walmart, or Target for 50¢.
100% this. I will buy the brand name items - Twist, Maybelline and Revlon foundations recently since these are such good deals but the other stuff I'll skip. I sill like the 50 cent greeting cards but now I hardly go to DT and used to hit 3 a week when things were $1. I have heard with them buyinng out family dollar they had to raise prices on all those $3 and $5 items but making regular junk $1.50 isnt going to work for me anymore.
To everyone replying to my comment. I am RIGHT THERE with ya! I was gonna mention a little of ALL of your comments in mine but I had already made such a long comment I didn't want to Cross Everyone's eyes 🤪. But I will say this Truly pay closer attention Many, many of the items are nowhere near worth even $1.00 let alone $1.25 so $1.50 is absolutely out of the question. Especially in the food & cleaning stuff area or Trinkets they are simply taking advantage of the homeless & people living in Food Desserts on the Food Prices. Same Dollar General Trick. I seen a glass vase they added the other day in there $5 section that has been in the larger version of the same vase at Walmart for the same price for like 2 years. So they are playing a numbers game. Lose money or make small profit on the higher priced items & make an absolute massacre on the items that people don't realize are low value high mark up. Some of these items are literally pennies each, & they are selling for $1.25 now $1.50. But I'll give you just 1 great example of something they marked up mathematically for no reason other than a money grab opportunity. Yearly calenders. I bought them 3 years ago to use in crafting when they were $1.00 I still have 2 or 3. The inside of my Farmhouse one has almost the identical pictures I mean 98% the exact same calander from 3 years ago. Lumber prices have fallen off a cliff which means paper products or anything made from forestry products ie...paper will be way DOWN in cost. They have made no revision to the product this is a 99% machined product printed by machines cut by machines stapled by machines packaged by machines I will say maybe 5% labor of workers involved with a drop in the major Influencer of its price paper. Yes ink may go up shipping whatever but overall down. They RAISE the price on THIS ITEM? This is a money Grab! So people are still gonna be foolish & give them there money but I tried to tell people at .25 you have to look at it as they just raised prices 25% not just a quarter? Now 50% you didnt get a 50% increase in available income for ANYTHING if you got a raise at all! So again... Noooooooo.... I'm sooooo OUT! I'm Back to my multi-store,
