So good I ordered 2 pairs one to shred one to keep on ice It's alot slimmer vs the OG it was more accel og with the thickness the lounge puff doesn't bother me at all but wish there was extra laces I already blew through my left shoes
Do you know if these or the grasshoppers have any sort of padding in the midsole? Perhaps in the follow up videos after skating them you could show a cut in half analysis? Appreciate the videos, cheers
Bro i remember owning some black grasshoppers. Never got to skate them. I dont really remember what happened to them. I do though recall getting freshman year and nobody from my froup skated so i stopped. Why i stopped blows my mind. Got back into skating and hasnt been the same since.. obviously little by little but man..
dude i remember in their hayday they took the best park of these shoes the souls and messed them all up and instead of all lil I's they put like a big eye where the toes go and sold them at like journey in the mall and thats why they went outta business.
The puffy tongue helps lock in your foot to not slide around. Btw I hope these new runs stay in skate shops and not end up in an outlet store. These shoes used to be kinda rare to begin with, and I could never find my size in the styles I wanted. The market is different these days with the internet, good luck to these guys and my advice is to probably focus on getting the shoes into the hands of skaters. Don’t gotta make a humongous run to do that. Keep making a model if it works, and don’t let it depreciate so much that you give away everything to outlets, to keep things in stock for someone who actually needs it.

Back in the day I had some brown/gum cats that I got for chillin, ended up skating them and they weren’t half bad to skate to boot.
Got mine from my local shop today. Couldn’t afford them back in the day when they came out. Glad I can now.
